The reason why 4 didnt combo extend at times is because when the opponent is downslamed, they have a small invincible frame (exclusively to only m1s, moves can still be used and hit), so to make 4 combo extend, you have to delay your 4 for like 0.3 seconds

There's no gap in heavy blow it's because of the m1 immunity when you down slam. Wait awhile to use your kick then it will work
