Its cause of age, a lot of characters haven't had updated movesets since release, so most characters are simple, while surprisingly still viable, take for example ssj goku, he's simple, yet still really good, able to combo from his ult and has multiple different types of tech to learn from to increase the combo routes and damage, so its not like the powercreep is insane, its still possible to beat someone using reworked itadori with someone as simple as kira
