I really like the fact you added the cubic duel in this. 99% of deck showcases only show the wins, which will, obviously, make any deck look incredible. I guess its hard to find good replays of what infernity can do in ranked because its an extreme combo deck. But i would loove too see you include one or two matchups with heavy interruption or losses against the current top decks. But you did a great showcase of the different lines that can be done by the deck.

Infernity is such a cool archetype. So it really is a shame that their best use is as material for generic boss monsters.

Yeah it’s really a shame. I feel that’s the case with a bunch of different archetypes (I could be wrong) playing the same boss monsters over and over. which is why recently I started playing way less generic boss monsters and use boss monsters from the archetype even if it’s worse. Just find it more entertaining personally

@@Anthony_Committe This was ALOT less of a problem pre-link, people actually used Fusion, Synchro and Xyz in alot of variety but Link just does everything better right now. Especially Apo and Accesscode; Straight up banning those 2 or atleast Apo and making Accesscode Cyberse only materials would help the game have more room for designing new cards that aren't as strong but more varied and still just as useful without devaluing the other existing cards.

They deserve a re-structure that restricts the archetype to synchro and their thematic monsters, it's a shame after all this time is still on the list, since is such a beloved archetype.

​​​@@steks6398 I'm late but Dragunity, there are so many variants (pure, kaiju, bystial, buster blader, etc). They do use some generic bosses (heavenly spheres, borreload savage, number 38) but they also have their own bosses Dragunity Knight Areadbhair and Ascalon, one of which is a monster negate while the other can banish one monster your opponent controls (non once per turn), so u have great potential for going first and second. It also is pretty consistent and has a unique playstyle with different combo lines, but it might take some time to learn it, I recommend checking out Craftymind Gaming if ur interested.

I feel like Triple Tactics Talent is better than Called by the Grave specifically in Infernity decks. Talent can give you an immediate response during the turn you took an opponent's handtrap while Called has to be set and wait until next turn since it's a quick play spell

Thing is, it's better for Infernity's to not be negated to have a chance to play Turn 1. Yes, it's true that it has to be Set first making it more annoying, however you also can't deny that with TTT, you're definitely gonna get Ash'd, and then what do you do? Send away a card from their hand and being petty likely won't help if they're more consistent than you. It's better to have that small chance of "Leave me the fuck alone" than not have it at all, especially if the opponent gets too greedy and presses Yes.

Infernity is a 'no hands' combo themed deck. Having so much as one card in your hand outside of a few traps, at least one in-theme which can allow you to send cards to your GY, can ruin your play. The only other deck that can remotely get close to Infernity in terms of spamming out Synchros, assuming you don't get a bricked opening hand, is Synchrons. Which can get stopped if your opponent is able to stop your play enabler, Junk Speedster. Also, Infernity can get some of the deadliest 'I negate your negate with my Counter negate' without losing too much. All in all, it's a deck for extreme plays and is high risk, high reward depending on the match-up. You either need to go first or hope your opponent doesn't stop you if you go second, which a lot of the time in the current meta in MD, it's easy to be countered if you go second depending on your deck theme. It wouldn't be Infernity if you were able to keep a hand.
