Thank U for the video! You can put the minis inside the box, but in order to do so you need to remove the flaps (at the top and bottom) of the base insert. Also note that the tray for the minis has a space reserved to store the components of each guardian.

Do you mean the flaps behind the raised areas at each side of the box insert

​@@thegameskingdom811 Top and bottom of Virgil’s image: if you fold those flaps inwards (so they sit under Virgil’s image), the miniatures tray will fit well.
