The visibility was a bit poor and broke my pole before the second cross country section. The course was about 9,5km. Congratulations! You ended up in a good position. You seem to have a good glide specially in the long traverse in the beginning and you arrived fast on the uphill part. Excellent!

Thanx! The upper part went quite ok but noticed once again that I should be on skis a bit more often... On this season 5 hours in Finland and 2 days in Mürren before the race day so it is a bit too little when you compete in this beautiful "crazy" event... ;0)

How long is this course

@@Dennis-tf7xn It was almost the same track as 2020 and then it was 9,5km. Full length race track is 14,9km. If you check out my 2019 race run there you can see the rest of the track also (those missing 6,5km).

What size person wins these races? Downhillers are all heavy but climbers are all super light.

Not necessarily. Usually the downhillers are bigger guys and the technical racers aren’t as big, but sometimes a smaller guy will do well too in a speed event. It’s more dependent on skiing skill than size.

I would say that you need good skiing skills, some missing parts in your brain and the fastest ones are in really good condition😉

@@raynardi7243 Ci sono tutti insieme 1850 concorrenti che gareggiano nello stesso giorno. Nella tua prima competizione il tuo numero di partenza è davvero grande. Se sei bravo, supererai diversi sciatori perché ogni 12 secondi c'è un nuovo corridore in pista. Il livello dei concorrenti varia molto. Ci sono buoni sciatori ma ce ne sono anche molti con abilità sciistiche piuttosto basse. Molti sciatori vengono solo per divertirsi perché questa gara è un grande evento in quel villaggio. Ogni modo, devi finire la tua corsa in un determinato tempo in cui puoi correre l'anno prossimo. It's 9,5km. Someone wrote that It's boring but when you race there the feeling isn't boring, I would say that the feeling is quite infernal when your body is totally end😉 If someone got bored, then you got to check out 2019 race run when the track was 14,9km. 80km/h between the trees can be fun if you don't make mistakes...😁 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXfUpqCAlNBqa5o
