​@@ZaneBlalockI greatly dislike the idea that bad actions can undo good ones or vice versa. They can both exist simultaneously, few people can be said to have done almost only one of them. Similarly, only illegal acts matter to the law, and it doesn't care about what you have lawfully done over the years. You can kill one person and save millions - it still doesn't undo your murder and you will go on trial for that... but you still saved over a million people. In the end it's up to us to judge whether somebody should fit in society. It's easy to say that people who committed evil acts shouldn't be part of it, because when a lot of them "do something good" they heavily exaggerate it to detract from the evil they commit, often without even having provided much real value to society. There are two large problems with forgiveness however: first, we cannot tell when someone has truly realised the evil they committed and are determined to give back as much as they can. We often assume the worst of them, because it's true in most cases. Second, if someone actually repented and we can tell with new technology or something, how should we treat them? Can we absolve them of any punishment? Or keep the same punishment in place? Neither seem fair, and I cannot currently say what the solution should be.

If it weren't for a concentrated effort to get Disney to reverse their firing of James Gunn the guy would have been blacklisted from working on anything Disney had a hand in, and Johnny Depp is still called an abuser despite proving in court that not only was he not, but that he was the one being abused. I will say that it's not as *widespread* as some people complaining about it online seem to think, but it's definitely a thing that exists.

They did Toxic Avenger(original), Class of Nuk'em High, and Tromeo and Juliet(Gunn's credited in this one). Just as an idea of where his old writing style, humor, and views were. (I don't judge it. I'm honestly a fan of the old Troma stuff.) A right-wing media guy decided to bring up his old edgy behavior(I think it was a decade old at that point?) and push it hard to get him cancelled after Gunn made criticisms. Gunn was heavily defended by people he worked with, because he had earned that good will with his behavior. Disney fired him though because the "Cancel Him" portion kept growing louder on Twitter and bled into the news.

That tends to decide the winner since it gives the most points. Won by like .6%. So were regular battles to and the 333x battle my team got in the last half hour kinda helped in that category.

Splatfest calculations need to change. Besides the issue that many point out about Japan players’ bias, Tricolor needs to be reworked, again. Whichever team won Tricolor would have won this Splatfest - both Frye and Big Man. Initially, you could only play Attacker or Defender depending on whether your team is in the lead in halftime. They changed it to where you can be either. This not only makes less sense thematically, but also provides an unfair advantage to the popular vote (your team get points either way) and the opposing attacker team literally gives you a win as well if they win. If they had kept attacker to just Frye and Big Man, I think things would have gone differently… those teams were out for BLOOD. It’s too late to change the results now, but it didn’t have to be this way, I hope they change it for future Splatfests.
