Honestly, the lack of a headstone is pretty realistic. Making and delivering a headstone can take a few weeks and while it's possible to have it in time for a funeral, it will cost you a LOT more money unless you've prepared in advance. Cemeteries in the meantime will mark the grave and place the headstone when it's finished and delivered. In fact, most cemeteries prefer to wait before installing the headstone to give the ground for a new grave time to settle.

I think I might have found my own little "Birdemic" in Flight to Hell. A movie that uses stolen google images as "animated backgrounds" even using photoshop to make a day for night out of a static image, bad cg, a set that looks like something out of an early FMV game and it steals clips from Alien and some other scifi movies. Seems no one else has found it, I'm glad I picked it up from the charity store.

There is an excellent tv show called Fortitude that has a similar bug theme to this. When you start watching it you have no idea what it's going to turn in to. It's about an American homicide detective that gets sent to a remote island near Denmark to investigate a murder. Then some kids unearth the remains of a mammoth which unleashes an extinct life form that upon infecting someone compels them to attack other people in order to spread the infection. They open up the abdomen and spew up into the cavity. Then if the victim survives this they explode with thousands of flying insects. Its a shame they only made one season because it really is very good. And I fell in love with one of the lady cops.

I've said this before on this channel with some movie like this with very bad CGI... it can be easily fixed you'd just need some "fans" or people who're just really good with computer animations to redo it all! Just George Lucas it with newer better CGI and maybe some re-editing like maybe change all the outdoor shots into night shots by changing the color pallet digitally! I say it a lot with a film I loved as a teen, An American Werewolf in Paris!

I still have seen a movie so bad, even you would not touch it. I was in our local video store, Happy Bats, and I found this movie titled Die Hard Dracula, with a sign attached that said "25 cents or best offer", so I had to rent it. I paid my quarter, and well, I over paid. I am fairly certain the directors vacation footage was much of the establishing shots.

Given the setup and the ending, I'm surprised they bothered with the bug angle at all. It would make more sense, cost far less, and look much better to have this be more of a Scream type thing. Have the one guy fake his death and lure a group of his one-time friends into isolation where we would find out that they somehow betrayed him. They start getting killed off, his girlfriend shows up unexpectedly and miraculously keeps surviving, we think it's her because she's the most recognizable actress, etc. Or, even failing that, just have them exposed to some kind of toxin or something near the start that periodically makes them go crazy. So many of these otherwise mediocre movies are made 100 times worse through the use of terrible CG. It's weird to me that they don't just find workarounds.
