No doubt this is one of the best songs from Africa. I don't understand the language in which it was sung but, as a connoisseur of High-life music, I don't need to understand the language to know that this is a masterpiece. Bravo O.K. Jazz!

As sweet as honey. Reminds me of the epochs of 60s and 70s. Unforgettable memories Radio stations don't play such music again in Nigeria because of the senseless music of this end time generation

No African music could be melodic. Each time I want to be nostalgic of my childhood in the 1960/70s Franco's music is always a perfect string to pull. Unmatchable.

Hello! this is a translation of this great song. This song is in lingala my native language. It is spoken in DRC and in Congo. Concerning this song it's about a man who's suffering from a love hurt after her wife decide to end their relationship because of his infidelity. So, he's asking to her to forgive him. But, she decide to break. The man say that if the woman he's in love let him down, he will go back to village.

This masterpiece of Maitre Franco starts at 2,20! In Cameroon we name it change of rhythm and'balle à terre' catches the air! Music as it must be! I can still view my parents dancing it! Week-end Bar and Élysée Bar in the City of Douala !
