I remember a work story my mom told me once as a kid. She used to work at a hospital and take blood work from patients. One of her patients was a big guy who was disoriented and confused at times. Out of the people there that took care of him, he liked my mom the most. One night, she walked into his room to do his bloodwork and found him holding a nurse in a chokehold, pressing her against the wall and about to punch her. My mom quickly jumped into action and was able to calm him down. She was able to settle the man down back into his bed. This was a while ago, but it still remains fresh in my brain.

My mom was a CCRN in LA in the 60's she has a story about a huge muscle bound Mexican that was in restraints lifting his bed and throwing full grown men against the wall. A tiny 5 foot nothing nurse came in and told him to stop it in Spanish and he sat down and let hem get him back into bed. Turned out the guy had several sisters and her voice got through the haze of the drugs for a bit..,

@@JasmineRose-w9c Often there's not really much of a reason behind these types of behavior, especially if it comes from a patient who was previously disoriented and confused. Sometimes patients turn violent out of instinct because of confusion, sometimes they panic, it's really just random reflexes. I doubt that this situation was any different. Some of the patients after experiencing these violent episodes either apologize profusely or (most commonly) don't remember that it happened at all. I saw it first hand at the beginning of this year when I got hospitalized for about a month in the ICU due to a dangerous pneumonia and witnessed maybe about 3 patients being aggressive? One of them even had to be tied up. They were always confused and disoriented, sometimes sad and yelling for their families. Honestly it made me more worried for them than curious. I hope I never have to experience that.

Look it doesn’t matter what your views on abortions are, doctors that perform them are just doing their jobs! Refusing to do so can get them fired. Plus if you really want to save a child’s life then help fix the broken CPS and foster care systems so people can give up these babies knowing they won’t be physically, mentally or sexually abused!

IT is SO hard to adopt in this country. And you must fit a white picket fence criteria to even get a chance. Then it can take YEARS to get the adoption finalized which at any point that child can be taken away. So many kids are abused and neglected in foster homes because people do it to make money. These same people who do not qualify to adopt can foster - it doesn't make sense. Look at what happened to some of Turpin kids, out of that hell hole bounced into foster care and another hell hole. I can't imagine a child born to be in hospice for it's short painful life with no family.

depends on the reason actually. If you get hired at a hospital, some of them have specialized positions that have other details attached. If you lack those details, you don't do that job. Granted, this is not all hospitals, as other have different requirements. In some cases, if you lack the knowledge, they train you, or require you take training.

Not paragraph guy but here's the summation. The guy is charged with murder but is in the hospital cause he got injured. Bailey attended him but knew that he was a murder and made some unneeded comment that he heard. The man got mad and you see what happened. He managed to get bond and went to the hospital to attack Bailey. Fortunately, her husband was around and took his axe, and the murderer went bye-bye. Unfortunately, it is insinuated that he leaves Bailey for Khalua, and now he's an alcoholic.

This dude is a murderer, and mad that people are judging him. He's pissed because he sees abortion as murder and chief bailey just helped organize a series of prenatal health clinics that give access to safe abortions. He's mad he's not being treated as a king and compares his murder to what she's doing and saying he deserves his level of disrespect. Not giving an opinion either way because I hate online drama, but the show is very pro women's choice as her main reason was because she witnessed a few cases of women dying from miscarriage and not being able to flush the fetuses

Yall, bro has been convicted of murder, he’s charging towards her, what kind of superhuman strength did you expect her to possess? It’s much easier to take someone down if you catch them off guard from behind to knock them down, using their own momentum against them. She was in the path of the train, if she tried to take him on, she would’ve been the one getting knocked over and he’s clearly not in the mood to be reasoned with. She may be a badass, outspoken, and strong character but let’s be so for real. She’s on the job, not expecting harm to come to her, has no weapons or anything to defend herself, and is way smaller than the murderer making a beeline for her.

Because its revolving around abortion iirc this is based off the overturrning row vs wade and Dr. Bailey is pro choice and the man is pro life. She was also helping another dr set up a mobile medical clinic to help women with pregnancy related issues and teach other dr how to perform an abortion.

@@Mattdillon14He wasn’t ’pro-life’. He was ‘anti-choice’. No one is ‘Anti-life’ unless they are a literal serial killer. Anti-choicers are so cult-like, they exaggerate their stance to say they are ‘pro-life’. Even though they refuse to support or fund any programs designed to help the lives of children.

as opposed to the policies that you support, which are "dont wanna take responsibility for your actions? Just kill the baby" And dont give me the whole "but r*pe, insest, etc" bs, 1. Statiscally way too small of a subset to make sweeping legislation change for 2. We had that very thing in the "save, legal, rare" compromise that your ilk call draconian

@@InsaneLaughter01 I've never heard the turn anti-choice before when it came to this argument. I always called it pro-birth because once the baby's born. They stop caring. If half the politicians were really "Pro-Life" like they say they are. They would figure out a way to make it so that mothers who can't afford to raise a child or who would be relying only one themselves to support the child would get the support they need. Or even bettering our foster and adoption system. because the fact that there are so many orphans who suffer from abuse and rape or just terrible parents shouldn't have the ability to watch over children yet alone thinking about adopting. But that's just my view on things.

She's a doctor who goes and does women's health remotely. Someone decided that made her a baby killer because she does help with abortions. She was doxed and all of her information was put online. She started getting death threats. This man came to the hospital with the intentions of hurting her. The intern Doctor took him down and felt guilty afterward because he's not supposed to hurt people. The others convinced him he did the right thing. She was protected after this incident but her her husband and children I think they had to leave their house for a while. The people started threatening her children. They even said where they went to school. In the end they were okay but they were scared for a long time.
