Love these types of matches. Gamerbee playing incredibly patiently, never losing his cool, and it payed off. His spacing at the end was godly Infiltrations comeback at 20:45 was legendary too!

Kuro Shinko The entire thing had to be my fave really. -Winners Finals where Infil takes a page from Strider and forces Momochi to switch. -Nemo's Rolento causing headaches for everyone just because _Rolento_. But was damn near masterful and just ran into Gamerbee who had answers. And the explosive set with AiAi who finally got it together after being BTFO by Infil in winners. -Grand Finals where I had confidence Bee was going to break Momochi's Ken (like he did in last year's EVO match up) but also incurred the wrath of a familiar demon: Evil Ryu. so damn memorable.

Man, This better be the match they show for Gamerbee's player profile, I don't care how stupid long it is. An absolute mental war of attrition. A Street Fighter game has a max of ~5 minutes and they managed to stretch 5 games to 30 minutes. Long thoughts about counterpicks, long rounds where losing focus could end your tournament life. I'm tired just watching it. Unless Capcup has some absolutely stunning games, this match will go down as best of the year for me, maybe my favourite set in SFIV's history (I've definitely come back and watched it more than any other).

this match was the one that secured my love for Street Fighter I picked up the game at the launch of Ultra and immediately was interested in Elena, but I knew she wasn't a good beginner character, and at that point she was considered pretty bad as well to my knowledge. Gamerbee always seemed like such a great guy to me, and seeing him make everyone realise that Elena was good was just so amazing. I can't remember who said it, but a commentator said during Evo that Gamerbee made it so that everyone had to have their main character, and then a pocket Elena, just because she was so strong. Watching this live was just so amazing, and I wish that something like this could happen again but with the state of SFV that seems unlikely

SFV was rough especially at launch and, while it got better as time went on, it never had the same hype as SFIV for me. SFVI however :) it's like a combination of USFIV and 3rd Strike and the most hype I've ever been for Street Fighter. Such an amazing game. With that and the newer Resident Evil games/remakes Capcom is really turning things around for the better and I couldn't be happier.

Shes not that good but shes not horrible her damage output is quite low compared to other character because alot of her main tool is jabs or a medium kick into a special. But she does do well in quite a few matchups in which adon fails in so shes there to sorta cover his ass in certain matchups in which he doesnt want to use adon in.

I just said that Elena is a rare type of character to fighting games, especially to the street fighter series being the only one, a black female with an interesting fighting style only using her feet. I'm not saying race is a reason people are neglecting her, but many people seem to not want to accept things that are different or new. Like RE5 due to the Africa thing, sales for the were poorly, and people couldn't see it actually had a good story. He asked why is Elena low tier, and I gave him a response which probably made him think that way, and why he's wrong.

RiN she can't press some buttons when she has her fireballs charged meaning her pokes can be limited when she wants to hold on to fireballs, she has slightly lower health then normal. Her ultra is only really good if you manage to get on overhead/low since your opponent is gonna be very defensive when you use it and her ultra 2 isn't great. Also her projectile gets beat out by better projectile chars such as poison, sagat, guile. Overall she is a great character tho and was underplayed imo

her fireballs are all stores, her footsie game isn't simple like ryus her buttons are all situational, to punish and have optimal damage you need to have a fireball store which cripples her again because if she has her low fireball stored she cant tech throws, medium can't focus attack and heavy isnt good for combos. She also lacks a real reversal on wakeup playing her is really tough but once you get pass that barrier she can compete with the best characters but you can't telegraph your gameplan.
