No dude, the chorus was a sample of an American 90s song's progression. Same with "be mine", the chorus was sampling or "copying" the progression of 80 disco song in america. That's why you hear the chorus once, you literally can sing a long. Same formula. Thus, their songs are more like the past, rather than ahead of its time.

When INFINITE are having their comback this year, I really hope they're bringing back some music and MV's like this, because no current group has been able to catch this. The unique sound and style of 2nd/early 3rd gen groups like, INFINITE, B.A.P, VIXX, BLOCK B, BIGBANG and MBLAQ... They just had something special 😳 EDIT: I've found a couple of 4th gen that has some of the same dramatic vibe and sound; ONEUS and E'last 🫰😊
