Infinite cards cycle with Murozond and Draconic Deathscale! | Hearthstone Battlegrounds

Draconic Deathscalle is a new Dragon, which gives you a Spell. The spell triggers a battlecry minion on your board. I had a golden Murozond with golden Brann and my opponent had Draconic Deathscale. As you can already tell, I went infinite and being infinite with my board is insanely strong.

I still cant believe they printed "trigger a friendly minion's battlecry" as a tier 4, 3-cost tavern spell as well as on the spellcraft of a tier-4 dual-tribe minion. It's such an obvious power creep that it makes me wonder if I'm missing something

Its not powercreep though, its different scenarios. One requires a minion slot and to be used the turn the spellcraft is added to hand, the other is a spell that can be generated and held, and doesnt require a minion slot. If two things are similar, except one requires you to play a certain tribe to be better, thats just synergy.

@@9wuaiyoutube it's not a strict upgrade but it's definitely power creep. It gives you a body on the board plus repeat value every turn, but requires a cycle slot which you'll have anyway unless you're board locked. You can easily just treat the minion as a spell, holding it in hand until you're ready to play it through, but if you're gonna have a cycle spot anyway, it makes a great ending unit since you can generate 2 spells without commiting. It's not even kept in check by virtue of being a tribal minion because being dual tribe means it's in 2/3 of matches.

@@allu717 hard to say how the meta will shake out, so maybe it's not a problem. It's just crazy to me that Blizzard took a tavern spell that was already good, and made a minion of the same cost and tier that generates a copy of that spell every turn. It's been extremely strong in my experience, and while I can usually give blizzard the benefit of a doubt when it comes to foreseeing balance issues, this particular case seems incredibly easy to foresee since it's essentially a much better version of an existing card

@@SirBrandonKing giving a body plus repeat value is only a good thing if you're playing a battlecry build... which rewards you for synergy. Again, not powercreep, just different versions of the same effect. One has to be stronger than the other, they wont be exactly equal. But that imbalance is not powercreep

Would be cool to see a game between pros where there is no timer. I'd think on that last turn he would eventually be able to spend all his gold but would be interesting to see how long it goes

I'm honestly not sure, because each trigger a battlecry he hit in the shop would give him a shit ton more gold. And the interesting thing is that the more gold he banks up the lower the chance of ever running out is so you could probably hit scenarios where you don't expect him to run out for thousands of years if he has a good start.

lets think about this. around the 1:30 mark chat suggests he pick the dragon that makes his lowest tier dragon golden during combat to make a "golden kally". There is just so much wrong about that

Its legit possible, just not in this position, my duo at some point has the perfect set up for it, 2 x 4 cost divine shield dragon and all his other dragon alrd golden, just so he ditch the 5 cost dragon but still kept the kally on his board.

So: deathscale does 2x murozond, murozond gives 2x1 golden minions, and brann triples that to 6 golden minions. This gives 12 gold just by selling, so 22 gold in total every turn. But you still have to cycle like crazy to get that many battlecries. Or am I missing something?
