because jiyong went to the states to study.. and the poor guy was blocked by their previous management to do literally anything. it was so sad, actually. i think these boys genuinely missed him. he's a good guy, after all.

They all wanted to transfer to YG after disbandment but because DSP is shitty, they didnt want sechskies to be active in the industry without their management. So DSP blocked them to do nothing that is why it took time for them to have a solo/duo comeback. Jiyong wanted to be an actor but as expected, DSP blocked it too so he gave up and had no choice but to study abroad.

did anyone else catch the foul editing of MBC in this clip? jaeduk actually hugs him first, then comes eun jiwon. But they try to edit it like jiwon huged him first and then later jaeduk hugs him. but you can see in the first zoomed-out shot where jiwon goes to hug him that jaeduk is already hugging him.

What they meant I think is Jiwon initiated the hug to Jiyong instead of him waiting for Jiyong to go around and hug them. Not that Jiwon started the hug among everyone of them.

Clearly the caption and the footage's editing wanna compare Jiwon and other members, not Jiwon with Jiyong. 😂😂

What are you even trying to say? YG have contacted Jiyong to come back as a group after 16 years but he denied as he already have his own company and a son to look. When he was young Sechskies previous company blocked Jiyong to do anything in industry but he went to US to study that's how he lost contact with all the members. No one insisted to remove him.

+Kimi Pt sechs kies debut in 1997 and disbanded in 2000. Everyone else stayed in the ent industry while Ko Ji Yong left the industry completely. He went abroad, study there, spent a long time there as well. Now he works in his own company, got married and has a son. That's why people fans never see him for the past 16 years. He leads a normal life, not a celebrity anymore. Two of sechs kies members have never met him since disbandment. That is why this reunion touched lots of people hearts, be it fans or non-fans. :)
