I doubt the max will take that long to make. I think they're using the existing 737 NG fuselage but making improvements and such

its taking so long rn😫😫 its taking so long that its kinda suspicious tbh. it shouldnt be that long. I can infer that the 737 max is the same development difficulty as the a220, and the a220 only took like 3 months to develop… so here’s my speculation: they are reworking the 767. i know it sounds way too unbelievable, but here me out. *The 767 is among the top voted aircraft in the IFC.* *IF has confirmed the works of a secret aircraft coming but they say they don’t know when it will be released* *Just a few weeks ago, a team of IF devs and mods all flew the 767 (i think there was 4 of them) and it’s kinda suspicious because why would 4 of them randomly use a legacy aircraft… unless it’s some kind of a beta testing… weird.* So in summary, the max is taking WAYY too long to be released and I think its now 8 fricking months into development which is crazy to me because that’s how long it took to develop the b777!!!?? So yes call me crazy but I’m pretty sure the secret aircraft will most likely be the 767 and will come with the MAX update. The last time people from the community spotted IF playing around with some legacy aircraft was in 2020 where they were all spotted testing the 737 and boom its cockpit was reworked with 20.1 update. Maybe its gonna be like 20.1 b777 trailer where the reworked 737 cockpit was revealed as a secret… that was exciting, hopefully it would be the same for the MAX in this case.

Ryanair has a b737 max 8-200. The difference is that the ones that Ryanair has they have the door plugs, and the one that’s been featured doesn’t, and to give a better visual the door plugs have the exact same look like the ones on Alaska airlines flight 1282.
