I find it impressive how it seems like Hardlight consistently manage to completely misunderstand what makes Infinite so fundamentally broken and seem to tackle everything except for those actual key aspects, lol. Oh well. Here’s hoping for the next balance patch, I guess. It’s been frustrating, having been playing for only like a month and a half or so. Even rank 5,000 games at anything below level 14 with newly unlocked characters is an agony I’d wish on exactly nobody.

Ohh no they know exactly what it is. They just want to squeeze as much money out of us as they can by having peoole desire these op characters, thats why these nerfs haven't properly put them in their place

The patch was a blessing for sure. Super Sonic is properly balanced again and I can play him again without feeling guilty of making others miserable. While Werehog might need more tweaks, at least he's grown less common to see online...then there's Infinite. Three nerf updates and the jerk shows up in nearly every match! I had to take a break from the game for a few days because of my frustration dealing with Infinite, tho it was before the latest patch. Longclaw's fun to play as, mainly because she has Chao Tornado (reskinned) without the horrible Bunny Boost. Oh yeah, forgot to ask about your opinion of Nutcracker Silver last time we talked. Sorry about that.

idk if infinite is that op. his boost was nerf'd so sandbagging with him is a lot harder. his 3rd ability (the clones) are actually easy to dodge if you are in 1st place/alone. They only become annoying if you are stuck with someone else and there are 2 of them, pref being spammed. His best ability is really his 1st move, that wave attack. Kills a bunch of minions and hard to dodge if combo'd with an additional wave. I think overall people need to get used to vsing him, as often infinites will use that wave attack in the middle of the lane, not the side, thus always allowing people to jump over it. It's important to have game sounds on though for this move. Overall I think he is fine. He offers unique gameplay and the nerf to his boost hurt him a lot in terms of coming back into races he doesnt deserve to win. He's just been nerf'd so much already and a lot more counterplay to his kit overall. If put behind, just kinda auto losses because his boost consumes rings. He is a risky character in that sense. I just think people are still not used to playing against an infinite, which is to be expected given his unique kit. I think due to how strong he was on release left a sour taste in peoples mouth that might lead people to want him to be nerf'd to oblivion instead of realizing there has been substantial nerfs allowing for comeback potential and counterplay. I also think Metal sonic is overall a really good pick against infinite, simply because he steals his abilities, both of which are strong, but he has a more reliable boost (low risk, good comeback potential with picking up rings). So maybe counterpicks should be considered when balancing against "meta" picks.
