Love this conversation - such great points of discussion and excellent commentary. 💯👑💛 As usual, Marcus is brilliant and someone I have massive respect and appreciation for. His heart and approach to the topic of creation perfectly summarises my heart as well. 😉👍 And of course, I so appreciate your channel and content, Steve. Even though your channel is currently small, it's super valuable and needed, and I'm honoured to be here at the "beginning" (subscribers wise) and look forward to watching you grow. 🏆💪😎

The concept of the infinite game is very interesting in the light of how to be a Young Earth Creationist. It is an interesting change in doing and thinking.

Yessir, totally agree James! It's a great model for the future.

William Craig does not seem to keep up to latest genelogical studies from Dr. Carter, Dr. Jeanson, etc. who do actual SCIENCE research and their interpretation leads easily to YEC. Same with yamaswanzy.
@winsomecreationist7 ай бұрын
Yamaswanzy - haha, that made me laugh. Agreed, they do not keep up with their work at all. Very sad.

What was said was very good. But it is what is not said that could be very dangerous. We must explain what winsome means, and what it does not mean. In Acts, chapter 7, Stephen is murdered for proclaiming the gospel. Was he murdered because he was not winsome enough? Of course not, but this needs to be addressed in your conversations.
@winsomecreationist7 ай бұрын
Totally get it. There's of course more to the story, and winsomeness should never be used to shy away from the truth.

Randy Guiluzza, president of ICR, is a total winsome person. Check him out.

Agreed!! I appreciate Dr. G big time. I should have him on the podcast sometime. Thx for the recommendation.

Dr. Craig and Dr. Hugh Ross are unfortunately on the same sinking boat. They stick to their own personal idolatry of humanisn. It would take a miracle for them to change their mind. They are not winsome.
@winsomecreationist7 ай бұрын
I don't think that's quite fair. Dr. Ross and Dr. Craig are absolutely wrong IMO, and I've heard them be less than charitable, but no worse than a great many YECs I've interacted with. Appreciate your perspective. It's not winsome to claim they are idolatrous humanists because they differ in their interpretation of Genesis. And we certainly won't change their minds with comments like this one. If I've taken you wrong, I apologize, but let's be careful to remain charitable. It's the only hope we have to ever reach them.
@alfredomenendez87037 ай бұрын
@winsomecreationist thank you for responding. If i sound brash i just do not want them to get more attention. They might wind up leading believers astray.
@alfredomenendez87038 ай бұрын
Dr. Hugh Ross is way way too stuck in scientism and will never acknowledge the simple straightforward reading of Genesis. He wants the Word of God to fit into his humanist science. Sad.

Already replied in another comment to this thinking. I appreciate your perspective (and somewhat a agree, as a YEC), but would encourage you to find a more uplifting way to share it.
