GRiZ, I know you probably won't see this but I need to type it out anyway. Today, I had some sort of self-understanding. I have been talking to a friend and I noticed he had similar symptoms of problems that I have observed on myself and I started to think. My "demons" may actually not the worst but I have realized today that I am not the man I want to be. I sat down on my balcony and watched the sunset and its beautiful colors. I thought about my girlfriend, who is going to be my wife next week and I thought about my mother, who raised me by herself, alone, away from her family. I thought about a beautiful poem she wrote to me and herself when she was expecting me and that I saved and cherish immensely. I have read that poem many times. Today, I have read it while listening to this song. And it made me grateful and humbled me to my core. It made me cry with joy. I am grateful for people like you, grateful for people like my mother, grateful for people like my wife. People who can create, rather than destroy. Create this beautiful music. Create life. Create love. Create joy. That's the kind of man I want to be. I want to create. I want to contribute. Much love.
