Infinite Journey were National Champions for best cover Band in L.A.few years ago, and I am a critic to find best vocals next to Steve Perry since I saw Steve with Journey 1982 concert in Kansas City . Yes Donovan is as close to Steve as you can get next to Deen Castronovo drummer of current Journey. I met Deen after Dallas show he performed with The Dead Daisies.

I am a critic of bands since being around many as stage and spot operator but to sing close to octave of Steve Perry in his younger days would be very difficult. But lead singer in brown vest closest I heard.
