Levi Reynolds there was some scandal where firebat entered an open cup after he was already in grand masters which was against the rules. Some loser tweeted about it saying firebat should be punished and he responded saying that it was an honest mistake and disqualified himself (letting the guy he faced in the first round have a win) after he found out.

@TheSquareOnes5 жыл бұрын
I've heard that token druid has a slightly better winrate over tempo rogue right now but if that's true I'd say that's just an example of why you shouldn't clutch statistics too closely. They're both pretty simple decks to play but token druid is definitely the easier of the two so that means more bad players are going to be able to get better results out of it, and rogue is the shiny new hotness right now that everyone is playing meaning that there is a wider range of player skill being represented in its data. Taken together this means that more bad players are playing rogue and putting up bad numbers than there are bad players playing token druid and putting up mediocre numbers, meaning that token druid should come out looking better on paper even if tempo rogue is actually the more powerful deck when played optimally.

what idiots think that token druid is more powerful than rouge? Aggro druid is a one trick pony, rouge has the most powerful removal, aggro, and versatility with random card generation. The only thing I can think of is that people arnt thinking it through when they play a deck that has a zero percent win rate against token druid. Like, some of the worst decks have unbeatable match ups, thats the pay off for going hard into one strat that isnt great all around. Rouge literally just beats everything with like an over 45% win rate and 60% on ave. A class has never been so insane, maybe one deck but not a whole class.

The real problem in this midrange hunter is zuljin, nothing else. Midrange decks are supposed to run out of both threats and cards that can generate value. Once they play zuljin, its like game starts for them once again, only more powerful. Same shit for control warrior, bam play hero card and you are up and running again. They printed these dumbass hero cards when there were other hero cards so they didnt outshine but now they fucking maw down other classes with crazy value generation. Hope it doesnt take blizz too long to hof these motherfuckers and never print another hero card. Ever.
@HippopotamusPencil5 жыл бұрын
Zul'jin barely generates value, something which could be greatly reduced by eliminating the twinspell interaction. Of the three hero cards, Zul'jin is the least silly, and it is worth noting that most midrange decks through the ages had some form of value generation. Think of things like drakonid operative, and even nine lives in this very deck. Furthermore the prominence and power of rogue demolishes your argument entirely.
@wolfgangamadeusmozart37755 жыл бұрын
What? Barely? Casting bestial wrath, summoning wyvern which summons two and effectively giving you two more in your hand, dire frenzy, two companions, all the dogshit secrets, at worst destroying an enemy minion, two marked shot generated spells... Barely my ass. Have you seen hunter winrates? Fucking 56% as of this moment. While rogue sits at 51%. Nothing you say “demolishes” my arguement. They will clearly nerf rogue and even as a rogue I’m more than fine with it, but if they leave these dumbass game changers alone I’ll see everyone crying about hunter and warrior only meta.
@strongside45655 жыл бұрын
@@HippopotamusPencil Zul'jin generates 6 overstatted minions, destroys 2 random minions, fills the board with 5/5 rush minions and generates 2 random spells most of the time. It literally beats control decks by itself. Warrior can't bring it to fatigue and all of those added cards mean that bombs aren't being drawn. Hunter is an aggro deck that generates "infinite" value in that you run out of ways to deal with giant minions long before they run out of giant minions. A deck full of 5 mana 8/8 rush minions and 1 mana 4/4 chargers is incredible value.
@HippopotamusPencil5 жыл бұрын
@@wolfgangamadeusmozart3775 It demolishes your argument because your reactionary whining about hero cards is trumped entirely by the fact that the deck which is the best, according to expert testimony as seen in this video, does not have said type of card. It should be abundantly clear that the purpose of a midrange deck is to have cards which are highly efficient, i.e. have a lot of value for their mana cost, and that running out of threats is dependent on the tools control decks have available rather than the midrange deck you despise, thus the fact that the hero card is painful is incidental rather than causing the issue you state. It may be that nothing in my comment demolishes your argument eloquently enough. Thankfully you do that yourself by pointing out all the cards that actually do make Zul'jin busted, thus providing the alternative, correct explanation in contrast to your first comment: The cards that hunter have are too strong. The hero is merely the face of the much deeper issue with hunter, namely the cards that were printed for hunter this set, particularly twinspell wyvern and marked shot. The reason I say Zul'jin isn't the problem with confidence is because it does not generate value as time goes on. It is one big slamdunk of value, predicated on all the other value generating plays they have made earlier on, kind of like adding Yogg or N'zoth to a midrange deck. Hagatha and Dr Boom both generate continuous value as the game goes on. Zul'jin does not, therefore you are wrong.

token druid just feels way worse to lose to than rogues every turn face damage... a tiny lil board of 1-1ss suddenly are 7-2s and ur dead
@GentlemanNietzsche5 жыл бұрын
That means you let enough of their board stick between turns if token can kill you that way. Either you didn't draw your removal or you don't have enough spells/minions that actively control the board. Rogue burst comes straight from hand with no way to counter besides not losing HP and having enough taunt minions in the way.
@strongside45655 жыл бұрын
Yeah I staunchly disagree. Waggle pick is completely busted with the pirate package and you end up just taking 10+ damage every turn until you die while they remove your taunt that costs you your whole turn for 2 mana.
