Thank you for this thorough tutorial. Just to clarify for Samsung users, it is possible to use the tilt input since the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Yes, it is as old as that. And it works splendidly with Infinite Painter.

For Samsung Tab A - S pen has good pressure sensitivity, need to edit the pressure curve as shown here. My experience of Medibang - useless palm rejection, Ibis - no pressure sensitivity curve. Maybe can tweak their settings idk. At the moment - Infinite Painter is the best I found. These tutorials are a big plus. No stability issues. Thanks.

This is a superb tutorial - clear, comprehensive and informative. You have a real talent for explaining complex tool settings simply and clearly. The visual editing is also excellent. I really look forward to future tutorials as you have already opened up so many possibilities in the Infinite Painter app that I wasn't aware of. I'm an instant subscriber and I hope you get many more. I actually get full tilt sensitivity on my old Galaxy Note 4 mobile, but don't get it at all on the contemporaneous Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet with the same Wacom digitizer. Any ideas why I can get tilt sensitivity on the phone but not on the tablet? Many thanks...

Scott Burnett Thanks for kind words. Unfortunately, Note Pro doesn't support tilt. Note 4 was the first (afaik) Samsung device to have this feature. Latest tablets all have it.

I'm now enjoying the fuller functionality of the Infinite Painter app thanks to your great tutorials. Amazing tutorial: comprehensive and easy to grasp, really nice visuals! I was looking for using this lovely app more effectively and your tutorial has provided a complete understanding on its brushes. I have one query on watercolour brush. Years before I saw a brush (most probably Turner) in painter that two stroke (pigments) could gradually defuse themselves alike real life watercolour, unique and impressive to find on a software. Unfortunately can't find it anymore now. Do you know that brush, or anyway to control such feature? A thousand thanks in advance. And please keep on your fantastic work, would love to see more tutorials from you.

I'ved tried to save a copy of the particle brush (svetlana) so i can change the settings but the particle menu wasn't there under custom brush for the saved copy. only the original has the menu.

Hi. Do you know is there a way to make already drawn brush lines thicker? I've added a layer, didn't check brush thickness, I was do it on large zoom, after I've finished the whole pattern I've realised brush size should be 4.9 and was on 2.9 :( is there a way to automatically thicken the lines?

Hi Piotr - Could you advise me how to export all of my custom and downloaded brushes from Infinite Painter so that I can import them back into the app after I do a factory reset of my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (It's getting a bit slow, so thought I'd try a factory reset). Many thanks, Scott

The easiest way would be to copy the entire /Infinite Studio folder (better zip it all before). When you restore the folder after factory reset (and reinstallation of the app) you'll have everything in place: projects, brushes, color palettes, even custom UI elements like custom toolbar. At least this is the theory.

This is such a great software, but I would like to use ist with my Wacom Cinitq. Will there ever be a desktop version?

Depends on your desktop perspective. If I wanted to use a graphics tablet of any kind with this software, these would be my ideas: 1. Use an ipad, preferably on a stand or keyboard mount, and connect a compatible graphics tablet 2. Use a Chromebook, with compatible graphics tablet. I'm not sure for the specific model you've mentioned, but there's growing support for these tablets with recent chrome OS products. I personally use my XP pen deco with chrome os, works fantastically. 3. Similarly, consider investing in a Chrome Base or Chrome Box, both of which in theory allow you to do the same as #2. 4. If you're there technical type, you can consider dual-booting chrome OS on your existing desktop device and attempting the method above.

@@artbymiwsher Thanks for this hint. I did not know that Chome OS works with XP products. These tablets became very good over the last years. The thing is Wacom is market leader and we almost have Wacom tablets only (and some iPads). From a software for professionals I simply expect that supports the most established working environment. And not that we have to adapt to the software. At least this is my point of view 😅

Graphics tablets compatibility is a new thing with chrome OS, I think the first with the official "works with Chromebook" label is the entry level one by Wacom, but I believe it's an evolving space -probably the influence of the pandemic on education? I suspect it's only a matter of time before it's less of a challenge to get your Cintiq working (at least on chrome OS).

I bought this app too, and it always crashes, I'm contacting my Bank and have them remove the payment for consumer fraud. The app has too many glitches and should be removed until its ready to sale. I've tried to get help and no one responds and in my State u can stop payment on items that aren't worthy of purchases, which they call consumers fraud
