I love that everyone is playing with the Create mod now! While you are using furnace engines to power your base, it wouldn't hurt to know this: Watch the direction of your water flow when using water wheels. While it will produce rotational force either way, you can improve the stress capacity of the wheel by making sure the water looks like it would catch on the arms of the wheel rather than flowing over them. If you look at the first water wheel you showed, the water was flowing over the spokes, reducing the stress capacity, whereas the second wheel had the water flowing into the spokes, increasing the stress capacity.

Create gives me the same vibes than piston did back when they were only a mod (or even observers) It really feels like vanilla, but better, allowing you to make so much new and cool things. Now i'll agree that some things in the create mod don't feel like vanilla at all (redstone links for instance, but even that is only my feeling).

You could set your fan clock to 40 seconds, it'd put the item back in when the coal is halfway done and then again when it goes out.

Actually, blast furnaces consume fuel twice as fast, so 40 second intervals would be exactly one cycle of a piece of coal.

@@fieryflame1299 I tested it. Coal can smelt 8 items no matter what furnace you're using. In a blast furnace or smoker, items cook in 5 seconds, so coal is consumed in 40.

What a fantastic return to classic Tango content! I've always loved this version of Tango: Enthusiastic about all the wonderful things you can build and connect together! It's like a kid in a candy shop, except the candy shop is comprised entirely of powertools and a million different spanners. I'm getting the same vibe as the What If's and Tektopia Let's Dev videos. Tango, if you put the timer on 40 seconds, then it will put the item in every 80 seconds as well. Now there is a moment where there is no power

He actually doesn't need the redstone at all. If he hooks the fan directly to the furnace so that it's always pulling, when the furnace turns off, so will the fan, the fan doesn't have to push the item in, as long as it isn't running, the item in the chute will fall back in and start the machine again.

You could adjust the fan to put the block in blast furnace every 40 seconds. Then you get the same effect when it stops, it’ll be on its second 40 second cycle

Not quite, unfortunately Create redstone items add an extra tick of delay to themselves that cannot be gotten rid of. the solution is using 2 repeaters, one on 39 second and one on 18 ticks (-1 tick for the 39 second one and -1 for the 18 tick one

@@ChiefArug why not just 1 at 39? He needs something that divides into 80. So 39 plus the 1 tick is 40, or two 39s plus the 2 ticks is 80. No reason to do 60.
