Sir, in the 2nd example, please recheck the nth term... if we put 1 in that, it will become 0 whereas it should come out to be 1. I'm waiting for ur reply

as it is an infinite series so the addition doesn't effect on neglecting some term thus we neglect the first term of the series so that the whole series can follow symmetry and become easier to solve

Sir in 2nd numerical at x=1 we apply cauchy's integral test we get the series as convergent but by ur theorem we get the series as divergent. How and why?

Related to video on :- Infinite Series(Part-II) Comparison Test for Convergence in Hindi There is one question of mine :- In the section 11:45 on wards of question no one ( 1+ 1/3 + 1/5 +..... ) the Vn chosen (i.e 1/n) is always less than one Un (1/(2n-1); then how can it prove that the series Un will diverge? Even you proved that Un/Vn = 0.5 please answer......!

Un = 1/n(2-1/n) so Vn = 1/n therefore... p =1 . We know that when p≤1 series is divergent ( from p series test). Hence this series is divergent.
