Sir a small query...When U taught D'alembert ratio test , Lim n->infinity (un/un+1) came out to be x..When u substituted x=1 then you told us a condition that at x=1 ,we have to check Lim n->infinity (un) and certain condition you told to determine whether it's convergent or divergent..And now in this video,When D Alembert test failed you thereafter applied raabes test..So my question is that can we apply either of the test once D alemebert failed????

@@abhijain6261 I think when D Alembert test fails we have variety of choice to do so even we could have done it by comparison or any other ...think is as put the value of x as 1 in Un and treat this as a new sum which has no x term in it ....I hope it clears your doubt Brother 😇

Sir in 3rd question, if 1-a=1 means a=0, it implies that limit n tends to infinity n[{un/un+1}-1]=1,Hence fails Rabee's Test. But you have taken Un convergence at a=0.

Test fail doesn't implies that un can't be convergent or divergent, it only implies that it we can't find its nature using this particular test that's it , so he used another method to find that un is convergent

If n=1, which is the first term, are we getting it as 1. Cz all the questions the starting term is one. Am I wrong? cz substituting 1 in Un, I am not getting the first term of the given series.
