Literally every member is at Kage level. 4 of them even killed Kages. Orichimaru(former member) killed the 4th Kazekage and even resulted the death of the 3rd Hokage. Sasori killed the 3rd Kazekage. Deidara defeated Gaara, the 5th Kazekage which led to his death. Obito manipulated the 4th Mizukage which eventually led to his death and was responsible for Minato, the 4th Hokage's death. There's also Pain who killed Jiraiya, who would've been the 5th Hokage if he was willing to.

Maybe even had allies etc. Also, Her 3 year prep time isn't as if she prepped for 3 years straight. She has duties to her village and the the akatsuki, Sleeps, Was spying on and for Obito/the Akatsuki and Had to take care of an ill Nagato. Every time we see Konan she's not Prepping Paper bombs, She's either talking to Nagato, Or away from the village. She can't prep paper bombs while not at the village and it can be assumed that since Obito doesn't live in the rain and she has been watching him. That she's usually away from the village, either spying on or for Obito, Or doing her duties as an Akatsuki member. When she's at the Village she's either doing her duties as Vice Kage, OR Taking care of Nagato and/or the village which itself is a full time job. Plus, It would require concentration and chakra constantly to supply energy to 3 billion paper bombs underwater and make them look like water. Realistically she's asleep for a third of her life like most people are. So she's only active for 2 years. A Majority of that time is spent on the village and her job as an S rank shinobi/Akatsuki member. With various other activities or jobs sprinkled about. Since we usually see her at the village doing nothing. It can be assumed that she is either already done the paper bomb sea, or hasn't started yet. Which both imply that she created the paper bombs in a very very small fraction of the time listed. And again, Obito know as much abvout her, possibly more. Than she knew about him. If he didn't Have Hashi cells She would have won. and He already has an advantage of being an Uchiha.

So your argument that Konan's 3-year prep time wasn't continuous is mad irrelevant, as she still had ample time to prepare and gather intelligence on Obito. The Konan would have won if Obito didn't have Hashirama cells is baseless speculation, the manga clearly shows that Konan had every advantage possible and still lost.

He's been popping in and out using his Kamui every single fight as Tobi and only Konan and Pain knew he was "Madara" (Obito). We've seen a multitude of examples of shinobi figuring their enemies abilities out in mid fight. Why would it be strange for her to not know of his abilities when they've known him for basically years at that point? She is very protective of Nagato and Yahiko, of course she wouldn't trust him and plan for an eventual betrayal, even if it was just to protect her comrades. The fact that she knows his abilities due to preperation is PROVEN in the fact that she doesn't know about Izanagi, because it's not something he ever used. It also requires sharingan eyes to read the tablet, so it is impossible for her to know about it. That fact means that she has been paying close attention to the abilities he DOES use and made a plan to counter-act them. This is not ass-pulling by stretch of the imagination, this is just her paying attention and planning for any eventualities. Top it off, it wouldn't have even been a close fight if "Madara" wasn't so overconfident and walked straight into her territory and trap. If it was anywhere else in the world, she wouldn't stand a chance, because the paper bombs wouldn't be available to her. The only reason why she was able to catch him so off-guard is because the place she chose was specifically made as a trap. She didn't summon the paper bombs with any jutsu or scroll, she simply unveiled them because they had been hidden away with her ability in that place. This is what we call a trump card, my friend. Just accept it and move on.

It's a foregone conclusion she would lose if Izanagi is involved. In fact nobody could win against someone with near unlimited Izanagi like Tobi. But fr if Izanagi is not involved, Konan would have won. She chose the battlefield, she studied the strategies and simulate every other possibilities in their fight. Easily the smartest Akatsuki member. Itachi is more of a foresighted thinker but not much of a strategist as Konan, though they are equally clever.

I would say you are the victim of the propaganda of Hollywood trying to make us all believe that men and women have equal physical strength. The fact is men are generally stronger than women. It's a biological fact and reality whether you like it or not and stories only try to reflect our reality in it's own unique ways. Women and fighting prowess don't go hand in hand tbh. But I somewhat agree with you that the female characters of Naruto are not that interesting or memorable. Even the strongest character in Naruto Shippuden (Kagua) who is a female btw, is one of the most boring villains.
