Great Reaction InfiniteLocke! I think you misunderstood the condition! Pneumothorax! Collapse Lung! Oxygen leaking out of the lungs! She was hospitalized before it completely collapsed! YG Choreographers tell them if something feels bad go to the hospital! It was too close for comfort!🙏🏻

Rami had pheumothorax which is the ait leaking from the lung and going into the chest cavity. Any more serious she would have to spend months in the hospital because it would have required surgery to close the hole in her lung. She was lucky that it was caught early where she just needed rest to heal. But when you see her in all of the appearances that they been doing lately you would have never guessed that it happened to her.

Rami’s condition is not pneumonia LOL! It’s Pneumothorax…apparently Aespa’s Winter also has it and has to be on hiatus to recover and heal from that. Luckily for Rami, this happened even before the comeback/OT7 debut/Ahyeon’s return. It was still in the early stages of preparing and perfecting the choreography. Obviously, Rami has properly healed and is singing beautifully again.

From what I understand, Winter's situation was even worse, as her lung did actually collapse. Rami's was caught before it got to that stage. Scary for both of them.

Pah-Rita is how you would say her name. In fact the A’s in every girl’s name are “ Ah’s” Ruka= Roo-Kah Rami= Rah-mee Pharita= pah-Rita Asa= Ah -Sah Ahyeon= Ah -hyun Rora= roar-ah Chiquita= chick-eat-ah ( like the banana brand)

To answer your question, Pharita's name only sounds like 'Far-ita' but since she is Thai (and the Thai language doesn't treat the 'ph' and 'th' type combinations the same as in English), she is always introduced as 'Par-ita'. The 'Par' syllable rhymes with 'Far' or 'Bar' rather than 'Fair' or 'Bear'. So it's not FARE-ita.......it's Par-ita. I hope this helps and I didn't make it more confusing. I just remember it by how Thai people pronounce cities like Phuket (Poo-ket) and their own country, Thailand (Tie-land).
