I MOVED INTO MY DORM AT UCLA TODAY! I still can't believe the day it's been! Today was move in day so my dad and I rented a van and drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles so I could move into my dorm at Rieber Vista for one of UCLA's move in days. Moving in was a lot of work especially unpacking and I take you all through the process with me so I hope you enjoy this vlog!

When I went to uni in Australia I packed just my everyday clothes for the current season and the next. I didn't worry about packing any school supplies because you can get that when you get there. If you're talking about the US specifically there are so many places that you can get 'ready-to-go' school kits with like bedding and all that. In particular Target and Walmart. You can also look into shipping things ahead if you know someone who already lives where you're going. You're kind of limited to the airlines' suitcase weight limits.

My brothers both study abroad and for freshman year, they buy everything for their room from there and then they rent a storage space over the summer to put their things in.
