Welcome back to the Foxhole and now with Metal Galaxy era.🦊🤘🌅 Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson and Scott LePage and it's very clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip. Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again yesterday at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. They certainly are doing more collabs. This one, however, is from their third album, Metal Galaxy. They've just never had an opportunity to play it live with the boys until Fox Fest this year. 🤘🦊🤘

This song isn't actually a new collab, it's a song from Babymetal's 2019 album Metal Galaxy. This was just the first time that Babymetal and Tim and Scott have performed it on stage together. This performance was filmed at FOX_FEST, which took place in Tokyo on the 25th and 26th of May. I was there to see this performance live and it was fantastic. BND wasn't really a song that I was that fond of previously, but seeing it performed live gave me a whole new appreciation for it. It was nice to see that both Babymetal and Tim and Scott looked really happy that they finally got to perform it together. They surprised everyone again yesterday when they performed it together again at Graspop festival in Belgium. A few days ago Tim let slip during an interview at Download that there is a new Babymetal/Polyphia collab in the works, and it sounds like Babymetal will be guests on a Polyphia song this time around.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤. The actual applause at the end was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video.

A brilliant idea that BM are pursuing here with their collaborations. Can BM also do differently or can the others also BM? The answer is simple. It doesn't matter as long as everyone can do it. Namely, making beautiful music.

Great reaction - definitely one of their more 'mellow' songs. It is nearly 5 years since it was released on the Metal Galaxy album in 2019, but this was the very first time they had the chance to perform it live with Tim and Scott who had provided the original guitar tracks.🎸

One of the gems from the Metal Galaxy album from 2019 BabyMetal travelled the Galaxy looking for new music . Great to see them perform it together live it is perfect performance. . Saw it performed at the Roundhouse in London ( without Tim and Scott). Su singing this live and the harmonies from Moa and MoMo fantastic. Not many times a metal audience goes quiet and stops moshing and listen 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

I always pair this track up with 'Light and Darkness'. Brand New Day represents dawn, and Light and Darkness represents dusk. They are both more like unique types of rock than pop-metal, but both are super classy and have an underlying power driving them forward. I'm glad they gave this track a new lease of life as it sort of got lost in the mix. Another genius move from Koba, he's going to get a nearly 5 years song a million views in a week (i assume). Now, if they only gave Moa full singing duties on BABB and gave that track some love.

Careful, even in this Song zhe Background is played by the Kamiband , but they can play anything. And the whole new Collab-Capabilities are a result of Corona. Brand New Day was a good example for it. And no one cares how far the streams really have to travel.

According to Tim Polyphia had little to do with the composition of this song. They were sent a nearly complete song and asked to add some guitar lines. So they did. He said Babymetal accepted their first attempt. This song is an homage to Japanese City Pop. It is a great song don't get me wrong. But I think their next collab (already announced) will be more of a true collab and I am really looking forward to it.

Well it was not a new Collab. They became a dummy tape where Guitars and voices were only filled wirh dummy and then Tim and Scott wrote a replace for the dummy guitar tracks and deliverd this with notes back and a few month later they heard the finidhed Song. But for the new Version at Foxfest and in Belgium they updated thevold Track so that they could do what you expect from modern Collabs. Since zhe whole context of the Collab changed. In the old version Su was worried if this is really metal such questions wouldn't worry her anymore. It is only an example how versatilr they can be. There is no force that other groups only deliver metal.
