I'm not Indonesian but I know that Indonesia declared itself independent in august 1945, after a battle with ..I think it was the Netherlands (Dutch), and somehow Japan was involved. As I said, I'm not from there (Or anywhere near tbh), but we learned about it in History at school (Which was many years ago now, lol), but I can't remember the specifics. Anyhow, the guy is a extremely talented musician. 👍🏻

the strange string instrument is called "Sape", traditional musical instrument of Dayak Tribe from Borneo/Kalimantan. . In this video Alffy represents 8 or 9 mainstream cultures of Indonesia. And we can see those by changes of costumes, musical parts, languages of each song, & tradtional architecture of houses or buildings.

It's not stingray, it is manta ray. And Indonesia has the world's largest sanctuary for manta rays. So, everything that Alffy Ref put into his videos/musics, they are very well-thought of.
