I went with Texas speed 1 7/8 with cats to the stock midpipe and stock NPP. Definitely more raspy than with the stock manifolds and cats. I've been looking to get into an aftermarket axel back but the concensus seems to be that anything outside of the stock muffler is gonna be louder. Might be deeper or just a slight change in tone. Not 100% sure what I 'm gonna do. I certainly don't wanna send another 2K on an axel back.

Simple solution. Just add one high flow cat on each side. Game changer. It sounds sooooo good. Quiet on low cruising speeds and monster on WOT. Trust me on this one. Just go do it and thank me later.

@@Infinite.phases Well I have the texas speed long tube headers with cats. Albeit they aren't large cats but I purchased them with emissions in mind. Honestly after driving it for a while its not bad at idle or low speed but put your foot in it and its loud and raspy as hell. Just looking for something to give it a better tone.

Did months of research on this system before installing 1-7/8" headers to the 3" midpipe to stock NPP and was happy with the videos online. Once i put it on my car .. i missed the stock system. The "tinnyness" this exhaust gives off is nowhere near as aggressive as before, maybe with some better piping/mufflers? Not sure. Thanks for the video, you aren't the only one not truly happy with the end product lol #2019SS1LE6M

After adding back one cat I loved the sound but it doesn’t last long. Definitely would invest in a more expensive one next time.
