Thanks. it didn’t snap easily but it is a mid engine car so you have to drive it differently than a front engine car.

Some say t-bars leak. I think the t-bars are cool and originally wanted that option couldn’t find a clean one. Now the sunroof has grown on me and many people don’t know that the sunroof comes off too and can be stored in the frunk as shown in the video.

I ordered it around 3-4 years ago from Walnut Creek, California Toyota. I went in person and told the parts manager I’m looking for a 94-95 Mr2 e153 transmission. He special ordered it. Took a few months, but it did eventually arrive. 😊 If I remember correctly I believe the price was around $3k (give or take)

How do you manage the snap oversteer?

You know it’s not that bad because the car is not in stock form and has many upgrades. Also being a mid engine car it handles differently than a front engine car. One thing I’ve learned is not to take the foot off the pedal when taking a corner.

This is my first JDM turbo build and first mid-engine car. Let me list some pros and cons. Pros: Toyota, mid-engine, 90’s, pop up head lights, some what rare & exotic, gets lots of love from everyone, imo best car community out there, lots of aftermarket support, still reasonably priced. Cons: hard to find clean base, two seater only (no back seats), not the best drift car (if you’re into that), not as exotic & rare as GTR or Supra, it’s old so if you don’t address the basic maintenance/repairs you won’t enjoy it because old car problems will drive you insane which leads me to next point - hard to find a good mechanic 🧑‍🔧 so either you have to step up and learn or find someone that’s an mr2 whisperer 🧑‍🔧

After 10 month mark they said wheels should arrive anytime now. After the 17 months of waiting they said “oops we forgot to place the order” 🤬 got scammed. I think someone there saw the wheels and kept them and used my funds to order the wheels. 🖕🏻
