Thank you, very helpful, The process is similar to our Toyota van. I'm not sure why manufacturers have made it difficult just to change a busted light bulb or headlamp but that's the world we live in. Great vid.

Thanks man. I agree it complicates a lot of processes but I also see an advantage in a way. #1 being safety/security. It might not stop someone from stealing your expensive HID bulbs if they really want to, but it will sure slow them down and cause a scene. Then esthetics and packaging.

Thank you, very helpful. I need to change the HID ballast on the base of the headlight housing. Pausing now as I cannot get the housing out as I need disconnect the coupling to each bulb and afraid of cracking or damaging the old clips.

The tool is an Ingersoll Rand, W5300 Angle Impactool. The fog light is obviously much easier, but I hope this video makes the headlight job less daunting

As long as you're shopping for the 2006-2010 models, the body of the car is the same between V6 and V8.

@@EdBwoy oh ok so it's for the swivel motor I guess. I changed my left side HID bulb today after following ur instructions on how to remove fender liner. I didn't have to Jack up the car and got pretty good access by just turning the wheel. Did a pretty good job besides breaking off a couple plastic fasteners and snapping a bolt off for the bumper cuz it was really rusted.

Pull harder, it feels like it will break, but as long as you pull straight out it wont brake. But it feels bad doing it

@@maximus1318able it depends on how badly you want to address the cosmetics. I'd much rather take the time to remove the bumper than risk breaking some tabs that will leave me with a loose grille.
