Infiniti G35 Gets A DIY Custom Interior! Paint, Suede, & Manicci Diamond Floor Mats

In this video I will walk you through the process of my DIY full custom interior in my G35 coupe.
I painted the seats & plastic trim pieces with burgundy duplicolor vinyl & fabric spray. I wrapped the pillars, door panels, & the headliner in burgundy suede. Then topped it off with Manicci diamond floor mats.
I've never done any project like this before, I learned along the way with the help of KZbin. So I decided to share my project. I'm no professional, so if you know of a better method or products, feel free to let me know in the comments.

I remember ordering Manicci mats . I thought they were from Canada but turns out not . Just the business is based up there . Manufacturing is in China. I unfortunately ordered in the middle of Covid and it literally took6 months for delivery because every container ship was backed up on one another. Dont be in a hurry cuz of Customs border stuff lol .. lookin good bro keep it up

Thanks! Actually I think it just hit 3 years. The paint in the rear seats and all the door panels and everything is still absolutely perfect. The front seats it’s definitely rubbed off a bit on the high touch areas. I wish that I dyed them instead of painting. Probably going to get the front seats reupholstered or new seats

I have same headlights but guy who installed them did it wrong, the DLR’s aren’t working unless parking lights or headlights are turned on 😢 I don’t think he connected the small connector to anything on the passenger side light.

That’s how they’re supposed to work. They don’t turn on unless you flip the headlight switch to DRL or the main headlight low beams on

I didn’t peel off the original cloth because it wasn’t sagging or anything. It’s still holding up perfectly almost a year later! I have heard that it’s better to take off the original material though

Yeah definitely. That would definitely hold up way better. I’ve talked to a few people who’ve done it and it seems like it takes like wayyyyy more time to do. The painting already was a big process lol. I will admit I wouldn’t paint seats again now that I’ve done it though.

It’s mostly just very time consuming and tedious work. Not the hardest thing to do, but really can’t rush it. I don’t recommend painting the seats though. Mine are still decent over a year later but definitely have started to rub off on the front seats. Everything else is still perfect

@@ivanmendoza2643 dying the seats is a way better option. Just takes a lot longer, super tedious. But from what I’ve seen it is a much more permanent option. I think at this point personally I’m going to eventually just have my front seats professionally reupholstered in actual burgundy leather instead

The paint is holding up super good on all the plastic, and the back seats still look flawless even where my roommate sits sometimes. The front seats are cracking/rubbing a bit where your arms touch and a where you sit but not crazy. Tbh though I probably won’t paint seats again lol

Gotta take the back seats out, then just use a panel removal tool or flathead to pull them free. The upper part of that there’s a bolt at the top of the seat belt that needs to be removed. Keep track of all those little clips that hold it on!

since I had 2 cars at the time I let the seats and everything I painted for 5 days or so to air out. It still has a faint smell for a few days. But if you put it right in after painting I’m sure the smell would be stronger for a few days
