Changing the breaks on my infiniti tomorrow for the first time, your video was super beneficial.

Wow, this is the most thorough and well done tutorial I've seen yet. The time you took to write it in the description is also greatly appreciated. Doing the brakes on our QX80 this weekend.

Great video - thank a lot! Especially for writing up the steps and specifying the torques! BTW, are torques gonna be the same for 2018 Nissan Armada?

I don't think you need to lube the back of the pads so much like that, you do want to grease the corner of the pads ( not the actual pad ) where it contacts the housing for better and smoother traction

I need help with rear rotors

BTW that "squeaking pin's" purpose is to alert the driver that the brake pad is worn off completely and it is time to replace it. The pin is made of soft alloy - it won't damage the rotor, it'll just produce annoying noise ;)

Awesome feedback! Thank you very much for watching and for the feedback. I appreciate it very much. The torque settings should be the same… but please Google and confirm. I will check later… but 99% sure it’s the same

Now u r not intimidated by ur mechanic. When you can discuss things like don't forget to pushback on pistons & 122 torque wrench.

A tech on Qora said rear caliper bolts are 20 ft lbs and attached a diagram. They are 14mm unlike the 17mm fronts. I'm thinking I need to crawl under my QX and see if I can tighten them more without removing the wheels.

Why do all these "instructors", who are teaching neophytes/car owners how to repair/diagnose/maintain their cars showing how to loosen highly-torqued bolts using a RATCHET? Doesn't ANYONE break bolts loose by using a "BREAKER BAR"? If only they knew how hard it is on the ratcheting mechanism when disassembling an assembly...especially brakes/suspension/etc.
