Infiniti QX80. Let’s stop the Sagging!

2017 QX80 with the infamous rear air suspension sag. In my case the air bags did not have any leaks nor any leaks on the lines and the pump was still functioning. This is how I repaired it. Not the best video as it could’ve been easier with the right tools but sometimes you use what you got. More videos to come

Great video mine is sitting to high as I feel that the compressor is not letting out the excess air. Any idea if it’s the compressor or the ride height sensor? FYI my compressor kicks in always when starting the car even if the vehicle is sitting in optimal height.

I put brand new pump on 2017 qx80 any idea why it is not working

I would start with the fuse in the engine bay. Think it’s a 30 amp fuse Check the height sensor make sure it’s sending the signal to the pump to activate.

There is a relay next to the battery or closer to the windshield in the newer models. In my case the height sensor was the issue but I replaced the pump as well, for $180 on amazon I will have peace of mind and save time. The pump is a weak point. Sensor is $69. For $230 you would have get everything taken care of. Your time is valuable and installing that pump without the original cover or the NEW cover, how long do you think that rusty pump will last?. Installing a patched up rusty pump up north where salt gets into the parts it is asking for trouble. If you tow and you are loaded , having to deal with this issue it is not find you just
