Can I ask, this board is like a waterline to starboard or I can use this board in some coast that have wave and down wind?

Thank you for your message! The Infinity Whiplash has definitely been designed to be their more flat water focused board. We find the Black Fish is more of the all water board in the Infinity range that is very capable in chop as well as down winding.

Is this good for race sea ?

Absolutely. While not an out and out allwater board. It is very suited to calmer conditions but in the right hands very capable.

IMPOSSIBLE to fall in love with a board which looks so dirty. For what? To save 30 gr in gelcoat or paint?

Each to their own we guess... brushed carbon finishes while they may not be to everyone's taste, they certainly save much more than 30 grams in paint at the end result. As to how they look, leave everyone in your wake to worry about that ;)

No way, the Infinity Sup Boards look great! My 2019 14x25 Whiplash looks "dirty" too, but I absolutely love this handmade appearance very much. Besides, after a few years in use, the glossy, shiny Sup Boards might just have a quite similar look, and this is not bad, either, it's just patina that shows that this thing is frequently in use. I just wonder how the Hollow Whiplash might be a different ride & glide from the SIC XRS.

Yah, eye of the beholder. I love the distressed look of the finish and carbon!

Looks awesome in my opinion.

After having to repair a Starboard Sprint recently I have become a big supporter of those "dirty" looks (Starboard doesn't have)...
