Anyone else kinda tired of this kind of writing? I know infinity has been doing it longer than broken city but man, it's just getting extremely stale now.

Genuine question, what do you mean by "this kind of writing?" Do you mean motivic driven writing, where they use (or perhaps overuse) a specific idea? Or do you mean something else? There has certainly been more "repetition legitimizes" type breaks these days, which has led to it being less novel overall. Can't help but think it's one of the few ways groups differentiate and make the judges remember them due to how many groups there are and how short attention spans have gotten. A trend I'm for sure down to see stop is ending snare breaks with left shots though 😂
