The 3-4⭐ and the 5⭐ animation are actually look different from beginning! Here are 3-4⭐ 6:52 -> there are no rainbow light around Nikki when she grab the gems. But the 5⭐ 7:01 -> there was rainbow light around her!

I get that! I don't play LN anymore but I am in the test server for it, so when I used to play knowing what was coming in advance always helped me prepare. It's honestly such a huge advantage to know things in advanced because it can help you budget as far as events go or in general just help you maybe save before you go spending materials etc like crazy.

Idk maybe its me and my experience with shinning nikki, But id really want to get a clothing item with my pulls rather than a 5 star makeup. Ive had multiple times where I spend gems to get makeup on an event just to get the makeup I wanted in the last 3-4 items to complete a set. Like in shinning nikki, I wanted the lilibai lashes (the best lashes in game IMO) and it WAS THE LAST DROP I GOT 🥲. Atleast with this system in infinity nikki Im guaranteed to get the makeup I wanted I just need to reach the node and ill get a clothing item in the process of getting the makeup so its a 2 for 1.

I feel like it's less greedy than hoyo games, especially genshin. The pulls cost less, the chests give more and you can at least not lose the 50/50. Also, the pulling isn't needed to play the game at all, whereas in most other gachas you need to pull characters regularly to clear stuff comfortably

Yes. 100-140 pulls for base outfit. Another 100-140 pulls for the final color variant. And you get the other two color variants for free when you reach 240 pulls in total. Meanwhile Genshin c6 unit costs 700 pulls and his/her r5 signature weapon costs 450 pulls.

@@Grey-vp5db incredibly huge difference because when you spend 1150 pulls ($2300) on Genshin, they only let you use your maxed out character in the new endgame for 2 combat rounds. 😂 It *used to* take 180 pulls to get a usable 5-star character there but nowadays, unless you get c2r1 or so, you get an incomplete character that technically deals less damage than your 4-star Xiangling. 😱

How important is it to have a complete set? If I only like/want one or two pieces of the set and get them, can I chill and wait for the next banner or is it important to have a full set or just for having a satisfying full outfit? @@zCritiaz It honestly depends. If you’re in for the meta, typically 5 star sets (which are the limited banners) have higher scores in battles. If the outfit has an ability, you won’t be able to use the ability it comes with if you only have a few pieces. If you’re just playing for collection and fun then yeah you don’t have to worry about much :) You can get through battles by upgrading the clothing you do have that isn’t p2w exclusive and focus on saving for sets you do want.

Hey! I'm the person who was asking a bunch of questions in chat during the release livestream lol. Thanks for the video! The rates seem similar to SN if anything, but the rates in SN are pretty nasty already (especially the current event with the cat butler going on right now) and I wonder how much "free" currency you can gather just from exploring or playing 😅 It's no FGO, but Paper and Infold have some of the most pressuring gacha rates and event schedules that I've seen, especially if we're looking at Mr. Love or Love and Deepspace (for any Hoyoverse players here, Genshin's gacha system is way more forgiving than anything from Paper. I've been playing games from both companies for years). I'll probably go into this with the same mindset I've done with Nikki games so far - which is stack and save my diamonds for whatever sets look nice or to cover my stat bases across the five styles. I just hope that Paper doesn't bungle up the event schedule like they have in SN so far where pulling for event suits feels like more of a hassle because of how little time they give us between UR Hell events. I'm not sure how to feel about them putting the makeup into the pull rebate system rather than the banner itself tbh. After playing SN for so long, I would prefer getting clothes over makeup when the make-up counts as a quarter of an entire suit, but having to pull a certain number just to get the make-up item itself doesn't seem too great either. It's kind of like a double edged sword, especially if you only want a specific make-up piece and not the entire suit. At least you'll know when you get it for sure instead of praying to RNGesus if anything. It definitely sucks they're going back to the "you have to pull dupes to evolve and recolor" thing like they did in LN unfortunately, so I'm probably gonna give up on making those a priority lol.

Now you actually get to select what you want vs just having something drop ToT chefs kiss. As someone who has maxed VIP for both Love Nikki and Shining Nikki and omw to a VIP membership with LaDS 😅 we already know that this is going to be a whole a** struggle with events. Maybe in the beginning they will be a bit more relaxed since the content creating takes time but.. knowing what we know from their other IP's I'm pretty sure it will be the standard 2-3 weeks for a banner, pause for like 2-5 days and then a new banner once they get their gears fully turning.

The pull concerns might make sense to other Nikki players but to a normal gacha players we spend like 16k currency to get a 5 star character and 25k to guarantee them if unlucky. So 19k to complete a 5 star outfit doesn’t seem that crazy to me. It checks out. Considering it’s a dressing game so you get outfits and not characters.

Hi hi love! The currency here that is like Genshin's primo gems is the Revelation crystal. These however do not drop in chests, but you can farm for pink gems which you will be able to exchange into crystals. These are found in chests all over the world, you can obtain them by completing quests, playing mini games found all over the world, and completing dailies. Bling is the mora of this world, that is also found scattered all over and the good thing is that this resets daily so it definitely is farmable. Alike genshin bosses, this game also uses it's own kind of "resin" that you get a limit of 200? OR was it 300? I don't recall ToT but it also slowly replenishes irt.

Hey there, perhaps try checking your backpack from your in game pear pal for the reward! This happened to me too when I completed 40 draws on the permanent banner, I couldn’t choose a makeup item I wanted, Then I just happened to cross check my backpack and it was there, you should then be able to select the makeup item of your choice :)

Frankly, I don't quite get the uproar about having to pull another 160 (19200 diamonds) for the evolution as its standard for a lot of other gachas when you're trying to get your favs upgrades assuming you lost 50/50. However, my current question is this: Is 160 pulls our guarantee for a full set? Or is there at least a guarantee count at all? Because if not and it can theoretically go on for infinity, then THAT is a major problem for everybody. Imagine its your 300 pull already and that dang choker just won't show up. I'd rage quit tbh

i get the evolution mechanic for a game where youre making units stronger. but for a game all about fashion, having alt color options be super expensive sucks. it greatly limits the freedom you have in making outfits. i wish the evolution was for something other than colors

Then, depending how you look at it (aka how your luck has it) this might be a slightly better alternative than using real money like how skins are usually provided in other games, so I still don't see the uproar considering skins itself aren't a requirement to majorly alter your experience anyway-unless, well, coming back to my question: is there a guarantee to what pull max will it take for us to get a full set? Because if there isn't that's a way bigger issue

it will change based on the number of items of a set. it the set has more or less items it will cost a bit more or less, akin to previous nikki games. creators are calculating everything based on the suits that we have now because most of them are new to the series, imo

Yeah like Kirana said, it's not a requirement to whale and the only issue you'd run in to if you were f2p is that you would have to be very patient with crafting in order to win your styling battles. Since you mentioned you'd moderately spend I'd suggest getting Mira Journey (the bp of this game.) You'll mainly be needing - shiny bubbles to level up your clothing, shining particle to level up your eureka, and vital energy

I know someone already replied but still wanted to share my insight. Previous Nikki games have mentioned and included deaths in their storyline. So some very mild mentions and scenes of violence. Nothing too major but thought I'd point it out just in case. I feel like it is definitely appropriate for her to play. Overall Infold has done a really good job with keeping Nikki herself wholesome. The idea has always been that big sister you look up to. She's strong, noble, independent. So a perfect role model for young children.

Just be careful with the gacha system. Even if you refuse her to pay anything in game, the "free pulls" can be enough to create a gamble addiction. There is a reason why they offer so many free pulls in the beginning... The gamble addiction is human and extremely hard to control.

Lose the 50/50 and you'll have to double that amount. Infinity Nikki only has one gacha, and that's for clothing. It's 140 pulls for the soft pity and 180 pulls for the hard pity. Respectively 16,800 and 21,600 gems.

genshin's weapon banner system has changed since 5.0. now it's the same with star rail with 160 pulls at max, except in genshin you can "lose" 50/50 to a limited weapon on top of standard weapon, which in certain situations can be pretty beneficial.

What is the point of this comment? You're comparing apples and oranges. Even between HSR and Genshin, the income per patch is not identical. The value of a character is also different. Difficulty of the game is also different. Genshin gacha is a bit worse, and income is slightly lower, but the game is relatively easier to beat, requiring less specific team comps to get through end game. HSR gacha is slightly better, with more income, but several different end game modes require more specific character archetypes to beat. This game is literally a dress up game, so pull value is entirely subjective. There's no information on patch incomes as of yet, and if I'm understanding correctly, it's just cosmetic, so why is it even being compared to either of the other games...

Doesn't Infinity Nikki also have 2 limited banners? I'm pretty sure that's how they are dealing with the fact that there's no weapon banner of sorts in this game. That said, it is definitely a lot more forgiving than Hoyo games, and there is less FOMO due to the fact that these are cosmetics and not units that provide a different way to play the game. I'm hoping Infinity Nikki takes off so that other game devs are aware that girly games still have an audience. I'm curious if we will have rerun banners as well? It's probably too early to tell and there's no point of reference since we've never had a dress-up gacha game before.

Unless specified during the announcement, you can expect for all suits to return a few months/1 year later. Certain events like collabs will not return due to contracts etc. so with those do not hold expectations. But they will definitely rerun all other events. All nikki games rerun the events after a while ( and in love nikki some may not return but are brought back for crafting in that case) so if you want to play as a f2p you can just save up your gems for when an event you really like or for a rerun if you cannot finish an event due to lack of gems. So, no need to worry about missing on events. Just be patient, save up and you will get whatever suits you like ^^

The game was only available for pre-download right now. That way when it drops tomorrow you can start playing straight away and enjoy :) As for the time, I am unsure what time zone you’re in but for me it will be 8PM (I’m in the US, CST)

in previous nikki games you can deconstruct any items you dont like, down to the first copy of the item, you get materials and can craft diff. items. I think they might add it. often 5 stars come back fully f2p craftable as well.

My head hurt listening and watching this as I never played ANY Nikki games before... Surely if I play Genshin this game won't be as hard as Genshin for the exploration, quests, and collecting resources, right?

I played Genshin. I find Nikki easier to understand. The game just have more stuff to "collect" for achievements. While Genshin appear easier because it's an older and more popular game resulting in seeing more guides about it.

so sorry about that! I shared information about the previous games basically in a sense to help others understand why players were upset nothing major really. Nikki series games ultimately are always about using clothing that have a particular tag. Elegant, sweet, sexy, cool, and fresh. Anytime you battle with someone you will use one of these tags and will have to choose clothing that have a high score under this tag. So as long as you follow that and just are around exploring and collecting you'll be good

Si es como los otros juegos, la unica razon por la cual tuvieras que gastar es si no eres paciente. Los otros juegos de Nikki las batallas siempre han podido completarse con lo que te dan en el juego gratis. Como te digo, lo unico es que si tienes que esperar porque tuvieras que recaudar los fondos, la vitalidad del juego, y materiales para poder crear ciertos trajes.

Game looks great but id rather pay for it once and then pay again later(even more than once) for DLC if i like the game. Gacha games r nor worth. Not to mention that most have spyware which impacts your device

Too bad it's hard to get the other recolors, in Shining Nikki it's easier, I hope the developers listen to us and make changes to make the game more f2p friendly 🥲

yeahhh getting the recolors is going to be steep for ppl that don't spend. Since they introduced the new currency (revalation crystal) you now have to split your decisions on where to spend your pink gems. Perma banner if you don't have enough of the blue crystals and really want a set or the limited ones.
