Infinity Nikki - Targeting is horrible

The two purple items are "Dews of Inspiration" and have to be hit with your ranged attack to be collected.
They are properly targeted when HIGHLIGHTED IN WHITE. Only then will your attack fly in the proper direction and hit them.
Notice that there is only a very exact spot I need to stand on in order to highlight them.
Furthermore, I can actually jump closer and still not highlight or hit them.
