This is a really interesting board, before Everready arrival on the market I bought a 3bay Gavrinis, allwater board made in France, I think you should compare 3Bay sup boards with other race boards, it should be very interesting.

Love these detailed reviews. Is there a conparison to the Starboard AllStar?

The test on Pro answers most of your questions about the two boards supboardermag.com/2024/10/05/14-allround_composite_race_board_test-2024-supboarder-pro-head-to-head/

Hi Ruben, you mention the benefit of the rounded side rails in rougher water. Hard rails are less twitchy but they can get caught in side chop. Is there another reason to choose a hard rail over round? Maybe they release water more efficiently?

Good question. There are a number of shapes that come into play at the same time to releasing water , but yes they release the water quicker, because the water doesn't rap around a sharper edge so much. Some more dedicated flatwater raceboards have sharper rails because of this. But like I say in the video this can be a problem when using some boards in choppy rough water conditions.

@@SUPboardermag Thanks for the explanation. I have a 404 jump that has hard edges at the standing area. It can be a real challenge in side chop. I test rode a friends Everready and the round side rails are nice if you can get used to them. Also overall I thought the board has incredible glide!

Thanks for your onwater feedback. Look out for the Race Test video out soon, where you will find it interesting to see how this board compares to 3 others... Starboard , SIC and Sunova.
