I'm glad someone else is noticing this. I feel like a lot of people are jumping on the shipping bandwagon without considering that there's something... Concerning about their relationship. I feel like just going into, "Oh, they're secretly in love", would be rather basic considering that Infinity Train has tackled much bigger topics. I wouldn't be against them being a couple. I just think the toxic codependency angle would be one that few shows actually tackle.

I think Ryan will change his mind at some point and leave. Whether due to feeling betrayed (and that one scene where he looks really angry does seem like it), or due to cowardice and not liking the train due to the Steward being out to get them. Either way, his problem seems to be that he wants to drag Min after him, chasing a dream that he seems more into than Min is. So the moment he decides to let Min go, that'll probably be when he gets his exit. And remember what Kez the bell said? Sometimes numbers are part of the problem. Ryan could get a 0 but that doesn't mean it will fix their relationship, it will just fix his personal problem. Min could be left with his own problems to solve, if he survives.

I think ryan was the one ment to get on the train being delusional thinking he's great friends with min and famous, probably stole something from min explain the chase on the other train, Ryan was only ment to get on but min tackled him into the infinity train, wich is why they have the same number the train essentially thinks there both Ryan. Maybe ryan would want to stay on the train and min is determined to leave wich going if the train thinks there the same Ryan will on purpose do bad things to stay on. Maybe see Grace again and she trys to prevent another friendship breaking up and Ryan trying to wheel min and poting a contrast with how Ryan and min were able to save there friendship but Simon choose to reject help, One door spawns at the end wich might play with train thinks same theory given lake and jessies doors spawn then merged but here only 1 appears so either they both make it. Ryan stays behind, or one of them dies. They don't wake up in a pod so this might be a prequel season, It's the final season until HBO max renues it for more. Might be cute if it turns out min was the one who tulip saw get off the train in episode one to make it an "infinite" loop. To the first and last episode

An ending that I think would be interesting is that they do realize that they're bad together and their number reaches 0. But it's only one of their numbers. And the other one wants to go home so badly that he betrays the other by pushing him out of the way, leaving the other on the train. The rest of the series follows the one left on the train, slowly realizing the thing he's been denying for so long. Or perhaps the one who's number reaches 0 realizes their relationship is messed up and leaves without the other, having the one left stuck and wondering why he was abandoned. It doesn't seem like they're gay and in the closet and their anger to each other is just resentment over the fact that they're not accepted. And for that reason I don't see them being gay, at least, not for each other (and if they are they should not be together at all, a toxic relationship is a toxic relationship).

I really hope that neither one betrays the other. It is an interesting theory. I do think what was said in the video could be true but they could also be gay for each other. There could be more than one factor that leads to their strained relationship. The I’m not going to leave you line seemed romantic and the fact that the line happens while one seems to be helping the other from falling and their basically holding hands. When the line of Min saying Ryan is my best friend Ryan is shown in what seems to be the perspective of someone who could have feelings for him. Maybe the train helps the relationship be more healthy and they are able to be together. With enough communication and if both ppl are willing to work on things then they could be able to work it out and be together. We will see what path they go down when the season is released

I’m pretty excited about this book and I saw enough on KZbin to understand a bit of each book. I like this theory and it give contrast to the main idea of book 4.

A theory that I have and many others have is that one or both of them has romantic feelings for the other. I really hope that’s the case. Min doesn’t seem to be as interested in the music career as Ryan is. With that in mind I think that might be one thing they accept or maybe min wants to do more behind the scenes work with music instead of performing. If Min doesn’t with music then that is something that I think Ryan and Min will have to accept. Maybe they have to also accept that they have romantic feelings for the other and maybe they end up together and respect the difference career paths

I think that something will happen and one's number will go down while the others will stay the same. In my opinion, it'll be ryan that will make more progress than min as in the trailer we see min constantly looking at his number with an uneasy expression (in one scene it looks like ryan is trying to comfort min about his stagnant number). I think min will be the more "clingy" one in the relationship because ryan says things like "I'm not going anywhere" as if to reassure min because min can't let go? And things kinda allude too something happening to ryan as we see him falling off a cliff with min yelling out his name, clearly distressed because he doesn't want to lose ryan. That's clear foreshadowing if I've ever seen it.

SPOILERS FOR BOOK 4 (There you’ve been warned, can’t touch this) Haha, I love how everyone was expecting this to be a huge thing around LGBTQ acceptance, (which is great, don’t get me wrong), but coming back from watching all 10 Season 4 videos, Min-Gi and Ryan’s big reason for being on the train is shown a lot like Simon’s.The reason is not told to us directly, such as Tulip’s divorce, or Jesse not sticking up for his brother. Simon for example, we are never told exactly why he’s on the train, but we can make educated assumptions based on Simon’s extreme negativity for lies and abandonment. Where most fans settle at, is Simon probably had pretty neglectful and dishonest folks. Same with Ryan and Min-Gi, we aren’t directly told, however through their actions and their mannerisms, we can make an assumption backed up with evidence. Starting with Min Gi, his parents seem to be those Asian parents who are very education driven, as they seem to be forcing Min-Gi to attend Uni, and major in finance (Min outright said his parents chose this for him), and their condesending comments at his first concert. In the Astro Queue car, and the Iceberg car, Min Gi doesn’t hate Ryan, however he believes that Ryan’s judgement is inferior to his own. Shown when they fought over the evolution dial, and Min Gi said that he didn’t need Ryan messing this up like he always does, and when he gave little to no support on Ryan’s creative, but failed attempts to get in. Also seems to think the worst of Ryan, when Min assumed that Ryan ditched him in that Art Car. Since Min never had these problems when he was young, it could be inferred that his parents fed into this, in order to drive him away from that music life. Min-Gi is often seen avoiding performing with Ryan, possibly because he believes his parents wouldn’t approve. Now Ryan, is given much less backstory, but we can still work with it. Throughout the season, Ryan frequently comments that his parents don’t really care about him unless somthing drastic happens. He also says he could never get into Uni if he tried (possibly the reason for Min’s parent’s disdan for him). Infers that Ryan is a lonely kid, (apart from his siblings), and every time Min leaves him hanging, it brings him back to being lonely again, which causes him to feel sadness, fear, and eventually anger. Explains the tense feelings, and how the relationship never goes further than some blushes. Well, if Ryan and Min Gi both have their own different problems, how come they entered the train at the same time, and not separately, (in this case, Ryan during his tour, and Min Gi during a work shift)? Why did they both come in with the same number? That reason is because Min and Ryan’s seperate problems are intertwined with each other, and it takes a duet to bring both their numbers down to 0.

The infinity train handles the heavy topics, there was already a season with friendship topics, the reason why people are suggesting that there is something between them is because of their number and that there is something going on in between them. Nobody here is fucking spouting that they MUST BE GAY, we are theorizing that they MIGHT have feelings for each other, WE are NOT claiming them to be gay, from the trailer itself it looks that they have heavy issues which do look that they MIGHT have feelings for each other but they do not know how to communicate it, hence why it is the same number BECAUSE THEY HAVE the SAME PROBLEM and again it is why people believe they have feelings for each other.

Completely leave out the possibility of them being gay, considering the time period that they been pick up between 1980s and 90s around those time it being actively encouraged to be homophobic, so they might have feelings for each other but they don't want to be seen as gay lovers, so they turn that feeling into anger

I notice something in episode 1 book 4 one one only has 1 white dot at the center supposedly its 2 and the way one one acts is totally different and I believe amelia did something to one one when she took over as the new conductor and thats why she calls him one not one one because one one lost his memories and his name is actually just one

I've been seeing comments and videos on KZbin saying the two are gay, but really the trailer didn't give me does vibes, if season 4 does have LGBT representation sure that will be great, but if it doesn't I just fear that a couple of people will start flaming season 4 for queer baiting

Ehhhh this is a bit of a stretch but in Book 2, episode 9, Lake breaks into a pod which was transporting an old man, what if that old man is Min-Gi? Like, we get that this takes place in the past and passengers can get off the train, but as proven in Book 2, passengers can re-enter the train if they have different problems. So I think that Ryan has died from a freak accident at an old age in front of Min-Gi and Min has taken up depression of his dead best friend(this is more off of them having a love relationship with each other). With having to deal with depression Min-Gi is back on the train again but his pod gets raided by Lake and Alan-Dracula

I think if them being gay is part of the reason that would be interesting. I’d be here for gay characters. I do think with this show their might need to be something else as well. Of course I’m hoping for them to be gay because I ship it I know I have ship gremlin brain. I think whatever they have planned will be interesting.
