Actually it's quite handy having a slim phone, that it adds some comfort to the hand sometimes but yeah, need to be very cautious with the hot 50 pro+ due to its thinness.

While I save money for a more powerful cell phone that is not a brick in terms of weight, the real reason for me to have this cell phone for over 2 years is the bypass charging. I'm aware of the Tecno/Infinix flagships (Camon 30 Premier, GT 20 Pro, Zero 40 5G, etc) should have 2 years of Android updates/ 3 years of security updates but I'm not 100% sure about it.

It's not about naming but mostly the chipset that determines where to classify a phone, the redmi note 14 has a helio g99 while the hot 50 pro plus has a helio g100 plus pricing of both phone are almost the same hence making the infinix more value for money compared to the redmi note 14​@@Khingxlee

Hi, I am team NoCurves, but am digging the fact that infinix has budget/entry-level devices with ultraSlim, compact, EdgeScreens in 2025, but most Curve screens have a problem with touch sensitivity on the edges as time goes by the touch response while interacting with the screen becomes finicky(iffy), also curve screens shatter much easier when they fall & getting a curve screen protector is a stress, but I like that 50 Pro+ has corning, but as they say, "Glass is Glass.." IYKYK Also the USB headphones is becoz of the phones thin dimensions which you have highlighted, but you should have done a side by side comparison with a similar Imfinix/Tecno device with thicker dimensions so we can judge for ourselves how thin it is, also you should have talked about Heating, does the phone heat up after heavy gameplay or using camera for more than an hour, bcoz I am sure Thin phones have a challenge as their is less space to fit a cooling chamber & you also should have tested the loudspeakers for loudness & depth of sound beyond just mentioning that 50Pro+ has 2mics & 2 speakers, but the mics do a good job when you were recording outdoor video I give the sound recording in video-recording a 👍 BigUp 2 Infinix for fitting 5000mAh battery in a slim device, I reminisce my galaxy M20 with 5000mAh in a slim, light-weight form factor as one of the earliest entry/budget mainstream phones Overall the 50 Pro+ is a decent device I give it a 8/10 for innovating in 2025
