One thing i want to know! What will be the fate of microbes for which granuloma is formed????????? Does epitheloid cells contains microbes within it or just covered the microbes???? I want to know details about this! Plz suggest me a book or anyone explain
@ilovepathologyVijayPatho Жыл бұрын
They will be phagocytosed and eventually be killed! They will be inside the modified histiocytes in the beginning... However when the cell dies..the dead microbes will be seen outside unless the whole bacterial cell wall is degraded... Hope i could make you understand

do giant cell is well distint???? does it has cell wall ?????
@ilovepathologyVijayPatho3 жыл бұрын
good question. The cells are formed from fusion of many cells by a very complex mechanism. the cell membrane too fuse and forms a single unit.. the cytoplasm fuses but not the nuceli.. hence it remains "multinucleated" with a large volume of "fused"cytoplasm and a membrane. in short it does have a distinct membrane !
