Thank you! Especially for getting right to the point without all the production music, ads, and drawn-out background stories! When this happens most people just need to get up and running asap. I am an over 65 100lb tiny woman who cuts many 'rough' acres weekly. The internet is my only helper. I had zero problems doing any of this quickly by myself. I did discover if your rims happen to be dirty/muddy you have to clean them to get a good seal.

here im about to waste my afternoon and take it to a shop and this man teaches me how to fix it with a flathead and some string. WOW. Not to mention, the guy at tractor place said it would be really hard and I'd have to ratchet strap it. I couldn't believe how well this method worked. I just moved the wheel around a little when I heard air coming out and eventually it will seal. Thank you

This happened to me today and I racked my brain on how to get tire bead back on the rim. Thank you for taking the time to share this simple tip!

This worked wonderfully! If you are having a hard time getting a seal in a certain section, push down while you are filling in that area and it should take. Thank you very much!

Great video. The last time it happened I took the tyre to my local tyre bloke and he charged me 25 bucks! THIS time I've done it myself for free! One thing tho'. You don't say how much pressure the tyre needs to have.

Different tires have different psi ratings. The front ones on my zero turn are 40psi. The psi rating should be on the sidewall of your tire.

If you cinch it tight enough to seal the bead against the rim the inflator will work. It just takes a little longer.

I wish my tire went on so easy! Tried the ratchet strap first - no dice. Then, tried a thin robe and I have MOST of the tire seated, but still have a gap. Will try some more - maybe I’ll try the carb cleaner method and flame this crummy tire.

This happened to me and I tried the rachet strap but it didn't work. I eventually put a small amount of gas inside the tire with the air compressor running and lit it up. It popped right back on. Just make sure you have a tire plug kit in case you have a hole.

That’s great if you have a tire that is almost close enough to the rim that a couple turns on a rope will receive make it touch but try it with a heavy gauge front caster on a Cub cadet information and you’ll be installing an innertube like I did.

Wrap a ratchet strap around the tire, works better and no busted knuckles from that string breaking
@fsark013 жыл бұрын
Not everyone has a ratchet strap. I've never had a 'string' break or a busted knuckle. (That's nylon rope).
@johngudmundson5020 Жыл бұрын
we tried this 7 times today, never could get it to work
@fsark01 Жыл бұрын
Some that had that problem used a ratchet strap instead of rope. Maybe that would help. Larger tires have to spread out more.
@partymanau3 жыл бұрын
Tubless tires on the front of these zero turns are stupid, not enough pressure to keep them on the rim. I fitted tubes to mine. Look up the Go Karting parts lists for odd sized tubes and tires. places too.
@fsark013 жыл бұрын
I did this 2 years ago and no problems since.
@andrewosborne75443 жыл бұрын
A tube is nice, but this trick is terrific if you can't get your tire off to get a tube in it
@archieblevins8336 ай бұрын
No check pressure
@fsark016 ай бұрын
There is a pressure gauge on the inflator tool attachment. Once the tire seals on wheel, I continue to inflate to proper pressure.
