I spend about $100 a week for all the meals for my family of three by shopping at Aldi. My last visit they had ground beef on sale for $3.99 and now I have 10 lbs ground beef in my freezer - for one person! They had some canned veggies for 50¢ a can so I stocked up on those. The price rise is less than I expected. Here in Australia, we are also experiencing inflation, fed by the supermarkets putting prices up in a way which does not reflect higher costs (which I would not blame them for) but does reflect their desire to life profits at all costs (which I do blame them for). Some things I will not buy anymore. It is the principle! Thank you for the video. Appreciated! I hope your husband is enjoying his new job!

(Posting as Joyce) Thank you for this video! I am always happy when I come home on a Thursday or Friday and see a new video from you! As far as name brands are concerned, I do not like canned vegetables unless they are Delmonte. I have tried other ones, and they just are not as good, in my opinion. I have tried the shredded chicken at Aldi, it is a time saver, but unfortunately, it has too much pepper for me. I just bought their ground sausage and made sausage soup. I am disappointed at the price of eggs! Almost $4.00 a dozen at my Aldi. I bought 5 dozen yesterday at Costo for a little less than $15.00. If you ever see dark chocolate in the "Specialty Brand" in a pouch, make sure you buy it!! It is the best dark chocolate that I have tried. Very smooth. I haven't seen it at my Aldi's lately. I buy the honey wheat bread there all the time to make lunch for my husband. My kids like the pizzas in the refrigerator section. I do not care for the Clancy brand kettle chips, very greasy to me. Have a great weekend. 😊

I am very picky about my bread and I don't care for their sandwich breads. I get my sandwich breads at Kroger. However, I do love Aldi's sourdough, Italian, etc. but I rarely see them red-stickered! I guess I am picky. I love the bread and bagels at Aldi. Milk is cheaper than all the stores EXCEPT BJ’s. I grabbed some of the shredded chicken last week. I used some for bbq chicken sandwiches and the rest just as chicken salad. I had many ideas for it but I LOVED the chicken salad too much! I like their take and bake thin crust pizza. I buy the all meat one and dr it with veggies and extra cheese. Sometimes I find a pkg of meat that I want to cook, but I HATE how small the selection is! Chips if I want them, once a month or two so I get them there. So in reality I get two, MAYBE THREE meals at Aldi or components of a few. I go about every other week. It’s just NOT my favorite store and the prices are good if you find what you want. I made beef stew and got most of the ingredients there. Produce as you walk in is disconcerting. It’s the entrance, it’s like the freeway, crowded and bumper to bumper. Blocked from the rest of the store-you MUST walk thru this aisle. I like to peruse the veggies. If you don’t know exactly what you want, you will get run down (like the reindeer does grandma!) if you don’t think fast enough. The meat area is just as bad, it’s a corner so it’s jammed with people too. Sorry. Should be all meat along back wall and all dairy down the side wall. There are two half the length of the store aisles of shame. Have never once seen both full. Mostly empty shelving. Not well thought out in my opinion. So. I grab a few things and then go to BJs or shop rite. Walmart near me has nothing fresh like veggies or meat. Very small selection of frozen goods. Lots of canned and boxed processed foods. Ok, forgive me, rant over!
