I don't go to Starbucks or get beauty treatments, barely get a haircut. I can't afford to go nowhere but work. I live in a rented moldy trailer and my car needs work and I'm driving it on a prayer. I relate and understand how these people feel 😢

For baby formula it costs like $50 a can. And diapers are anywhere from $25 to $50 a package. Not to mention strollers, baby clothes, rocking chairs, etc. Then when your child is a toddler they need clothes, food, toys, etc. Then when the child gets school age they need more clothes (because they constantly out grow them.), toys, etc, but they also need dance lessons, swimming, and soccer practice. On top of that kids will want brand name items for Christmas cause thats what their friends have. The woman at 16:43 mentions the brand Nike. That alone is $100 shoes. If you have 2 kids, that's $200 for shoes. So the parents have to spend to keep up with the Jones so their child is not bullied. I remember growing up begging my mom for wheely shoes (shoes with wheels on the bottom) because EVERYONE in my class had them, but me. We never got them because we couldn't afford to buy them. Then as a teen they need braces, new iphones, the latest gaming consoles, gas money and an allowance to go out to eat with friends, etc. I'd say now a days having kids is double the price from only a decade ago.

I'm glad everyone started to noticed ! I have been around for a long time and seen a lot of bad policy. If you want your life to get better its very simple VOTE for the person who will lower oil prices its that simple. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING revolves around the price of a barrel of oil. Did you notice when oil was cheap our enemies were quit. Then oil got expensive and now they have money to cause problems. We got poor and they got stronger see the correlation here. Young people need to understand that oil is the path to there prosperity.
