I actually had a trading card with the inflatoplane on it back in the late 50s. This was during the time airplane cards were popular.

we had one but it required patching holes all the time and the novelty wore off so it just sits in the backyard now

One of the more expensive parts of owning a private aircraft is paying for the hanger, if you could literally just deflate your plane and toss it in the back of your truck, then civilian flying would be drastically less expensive. It even might still have military applications, like as a UAV, it could be powered by an electric motor so it would be very quiet. It could be a longer ranged recon drone deployable at the squad level."

There are serval ways to make an aircraft including this one. Now making an all weather aircraft is what made the aircrafts what they are today. Imagine trying to land this in a crosswind :D
