can you solve two questions for me ( 1) draw I.L.D. and calculate for reactions at fixed support and S.F. & B.M at free end when it is subjected to a couple of 10 KNm at a distance of 3m from fixed support, beam having length of 5m. ( 2) draw ILD and calculate for reactions at support and S.F. & B.M. at a section 1m from fixed support when it is subjected to a couple of 20 KNm at the free end. beam having length of 3m. All these questions of cantilever beam.

I think there is no such rule.. If it is sagging then left to right clockwise positive..and v.v.

im still confused about why the bending moment (BMc) on the left between AC is zero. What is the math for that?

There is no maths simple one point.at left beam is fixed it will not bend .and on right side beam is free it will bend.fixed part of beam won't bend so bending is zero

Brother there is just a slight mistake, if you go from left to right so clockwise +ve, and anticlock wise -ve but, as you go from right to left clockwise will be taken as -ve and anticlockwie +ve, it may vary in diffrent reference books, but one thai i told you is standard one.....
