Info dumping happens on TV too. I liked how Criminal Minds would disguise their info dumping as the members of the team briefing local law enforcement as the cases evolved. It both dumped info and demonstrated each character's competence and personality.

That's a smarter way to do it without it being a lucture. I do remember Criminal Minds being fun like that. The show runners were good about setting it up to make that natural.

Can you do a video on how to avoid stereotyped characters? Every time I see a review of someone complaining about that in a novel, I'm never sure what it means.

This was done very well. Very interesting. You could tell she was trying to get it in quick, and not bore us, but still teach us. I've even seen Stephen King "info dump". He'll normally do it in a darn letter. Page after page of, blah blah zzzz. Scare me, Stevie, dammit!

I'm not a fan of info dumping either as a writer or reader, and much prefer to get the stuff out organically
