Beasty Vs Super CBR250R ..Round 1

Beasty ( Gixxer250) pitted against a tuned CBR250R...
The engine on Beasty is bone stock but, the forks have been reworked by our resident suspension specialist Skunk Works. The forks are almost up to the level that we are 100% happy with .. there are still room for improvements. The rear though is a totally different matter. We have set the preload at stock settings ( 4th notch) but, as soon as we crank up the speed we immediately noticed that it's way too soft. Unfortunately we didn't have the adjuster with us on the ride so, we have to compensate it by modifying the corner speed trajectory and braking, which is not ideal as the CBR250R is really fast .
Now let's talk about the CBR250R..
It uses the crank and piston as well as cams from the CB300R, Powertronic ECU, upgraded brakes.. this is what I know what's done on the bike but, I suspect there are more as the bike has been dinoed with a really tasty power curve and output 😷.
Both bikes, uses Apollo Alpha H1 tyres..
The CBR250R is definitely faster but, I want to commend the rider skill sets ( Chris) as he was cornering way faster than me, added the better midrange and top speed power.. it's a formidable weapon 😄.
I have to roll off the throttle on many occasions mid corner as I was loosing too much rear grip which in turn overload the front.
Well this is Round 1 ... wait for Round 2..
