@serwaygaming.corrupt yes? I don't take classes so there's that and conversational japanese is harder for me than just simply learning words and phrases and I'd rather not just be repeating back a list of responses, instead coming up with my own new ones. I also have no friends who speak japanese, all of them gave up before fully learning hiragana or katakana

Thank you for making these! It's really great practice for getting my brain to think in Japanese.
Not only are you helping me make conversation in Japanese, you're also helping me make conversation in English (native language) 😂

Affirmation Checkpoint: It's okay if you were not able to answer all of the questions yet. You'll get there. If you can understand Tanaka-san's questions, you're already making a huge progress! Listening is very important in studying a language. If you were not able to understand everything, that's okay, too! You'll get there. 🫶☕

I am 54😅 and just took on learning nihongo. For now is a hobby but I know I'll end it up taking it very serious. Children learn listening first then they speak and lastly read and write. 😊😊We all will get there❤

I got confused with the use of '方'. I saw translations with the same meaning (in context of 'what do you prefer') with Kuniyomi 'かた' In this video, 田中先生 is using the Oniyomi 'ほう' I am confused how to use it now. Could somebody please help?
